with ZOP Power 18,5V 2000 mah 95C 5S Lipo 35mm Prop. and Flycolor 90A ESC that's it and it works perfectly.
At the beginning of the Soldering Part from my Video,the Motor Wires I tried to take them like from the old Esc that means :
- Red
- Blue
- Black
But after I tried it out I have to switch the red and the blue Plug together for correct Motor spinning no big Deal but if you do it from the beginning you can do it better than :
- Blue
- Red
- Black

Hey my friend that one I took from another boat from me but you only have to look at the right shaft diameter if you choose one 😉 I got a new alloy / metal one I think from ali express or ebay but I can't find it anymore it should be 4mm shaft diameter,in the next upgrade video you will see it. What type of esc are you using is it the same motor that it came with or did you change the motor by the way you have a fast boat great video my boat is a ft12 model came with a smaller battery than the ft11 mine a 11 volt and the one you have came with a 14 volt if I'm not writing thanks for any information would be appreciated Mike Holden out of north Carolina said that

Hey my friend you're welcome 😊 👍🏽 It's stock Motor but I changed the es to flycolor 90a it's necessary the stock esc will burn after some 5s runs. Yes you drive the ft012 with 3s lipo and the ft011 is with 4s lipo. You can see in my other videos the red small one it's called super mono x from joysway it's the same like yours very nice small boat you can tune and upgrade it also I love that boat. Hey my Friend, To be honest I don't know anymore 😁🙈 but I think it wasn't set (that's mostly on boat esc) in forward and backwards. But allways get an esc program card it's not expensive and makes it so much easyer to set your esc. Programm card for Esc amzn.to/35N4zoN Stay safe ✌️🏽 😎

Yo bro I got a question I glued mine down like in your vid but I fill the tray up with glue and glued around it afterwards mine sits alot lower in the water and am fighting it to go into plane with bigger motor as well got a 3670 1900kv and a aquacraft water cooling jacket on it my question is I think with all the glue and the heavy 150a flycolor esc I might have to go back to the drawing board and remove glued tray all together and just double side tape the esc down so to loose as much weight as I can

Hey bro because of the glue and also the 150a flycolor esc I can't emagine that it behave like this cause my buddy has the 150a in its ft011 and still the same like mine 🤔 Do you changed the motor already to the 3670 with cooling jacket? Nice regards bro 🤜🏼🤛🏾

Which will be the perfect upgrade motor to use for this set up that fits in the stock motor mount and makes it run even faster ? Also please tell.me which upgrade turn fins would you use ? Eduardo Nessim hey my Friend thank you very much ☺️ 👍🏽 you're welcome. For upgrade Turnfins look to my other Feilun FT011 VIDS into the video Description 😉. Well right now I didn't have to change the motor because it's not broken and it's very fast right now 😎🤙🏽 No I didn't had any issues Motor takes it perfect... Another one that fits in the original Motor mount I can't imagine that there's one and that it will work good you have to change the mount and the hole shaft /system for higher torque and kv think the plastic will break. But it's not impossible for sure new shaft and glue the motor mount into the hull and you can probably fit any Motor you want to. In the future for sure I'll upgrade another Motor system and let you know 😁🙌🏽 Nice regards my Friend stay safe ✌️🏽 😊

You're very welcome my Friend 😊 👍🏽 well I didn't measured it but it's nearly the same like with the stock 4s 😉. Hmmm I think if you find the right size with 3000mah lipo and you put the battery tray to the middle maybe the point is it has to be thin otherwise you can't close the hull also if there's to much weight it's possible that she didn't self right anymore and the most important point for me better get smaller lipos and change them when empty in that time all the parts can cool down Iam driving with this all my Rc's over years and didn't had any burned esc Motor or whatever. The parts with that high turning energy get very stressed give them rest and you'll haven't to replace parts or repair.thats my own opinion my Friend 😊 👍🏽 Nice regards

So I have to upgrade the servo in mine because the 150a flycolor esc I put on is 5v system and the original esc was a 3v and the servo doesn't do much in the water with the new concept so gotta get a 20-25kg servo that is rated higher I think I will get one that is rated for as high as 7.4v just because I will be running up to 6s on the new motor (3670 surpass hobby 1900kv motor) and a 3 blade 437 37mm prop and eventually all metal fins, rudder. My end goal is to do 60+ mph ft011 and maybe after dialing it in top out around 75 mph we will see how it goes but I am doing away with the original battery tray and going to create a tunnel cover that goes over the shaft and also screws into where the plastic battery tray used to and maybe epoxy it to the other side not sure how I am going to do it figure it out when I get to that step but batteries will be able to mount on the board as well as maybe recounting the servo to the board not sure yet though anyway it's my project this fall and winter and will vid log my process of this project to completion hope all rc boat hobbyist will enjoy!

David Avery the Servo work even with the 150a esc 😉👍🏽 when my servo is damaged I would also use a better one that's always good. With the battery tray don't forget there's not that much space in the hight and with higher lipos they're bigger 😉 After all my upgrades I would also try a 37mm prop and to put the battery tray in the middle would also my next test because I want to build a flood chamber for better self righting 😉. With a perfect balance and good Motor Set up it should be possible I think even more than 75kmh Iam looking forward to your vid. Mate Nice regards

@@a-ztube ya man I assumed it was the voltage change but maybe it's just the servo is going bad cause it works fine out of water but under load it is like it cannot understand the radio sigals and doesn't hardly do anything maybe it's just a bad servo or some setting with the flysky gt3b that I am using with it

Hey hattest du Schonmal gefragt? Sorry oft gehen Kommentare auch unter hatte dazu mal ein Video gemacht 🙈.... An dem esc sind ja keine stecker dran gewesen und ich hatte damals auch keine und habe deswegen diese samt kabel drann gelötet 😉 Wenn ich mich recht erinnere ist der Empfänger einzelnd deswegen kannst du die funken Kombi auch weiter benutzen.... Da ich,aber viele Modelle habe und die flysky fsgt3 uns gerade deren Empfänger sehr günstig sind benutze ich unter anderem diese mittlerweile die flysky fsgt5 deren receiver sind zwar teurer,aber haben auch mehr funktioninen. Hoffe da hilft dir soweit LG 🙌🏽😉

To be honest flip over function is allways not 100% to any kind of these boats somtimes it doesn't work water to rough lipos isn't full anymore 🙈 Nice regards

Ohhh I really don't know I'd never tested any speed of my Rc 's I don't have any GPS., but it's very nice on 5s. Maybe If your stock esc breaks one time you can make this upgrade? Yes I've been windsurfing / surfing / body board / skim boardIng since I was a little boy and started back last 2 years again, because we live in Germany and nereast place is Netherlands after that France Portugal Spain so on 😉. Yes it's always when you go one step above from a lipo and you also can hear it it's more aggressive it also shakes a lot because of the outrunner Motor i will do an Upgrade from the turn fins and stuff also but it's to cold now maybe a few weeks the Sommer weather comes step by step 🐠🌴. It looks like you are using the stock motor and propeller. No problems with the motor overheating? I have a couple of these boats running larger props on stock electronics but always having motors burn up. Got fed up and started running a Volantex Atomic Cat. No overheating problems and even ran over 60 mph on 6s. Posted on you tube. Nice video!

79ltd hey mate, THX yes its stock Motor and no problem with overheating so far, but I drive 35mm prop. Next upgrade is metal prop bigger turn fins and bigger trimm tabs because of the outrunner Motor the Boat is shacking left and right. I will try next another INRUNNER Motor and some other little modifications everything is just to see how far and were we can go with the Feilun FT011. I know the volantex and I think that type of boat are better for higher speed Iwilll look for your video man. I like the self righting or flood chamber style of boats so I will try to get the best performance in speed and handling of self rescue 😁👍🏽 Keep it up my friend Nice regards

Hey bro also use higher 5s Lipo it should work,but 5000 should be to big I guess you need to checkt the Inside where the hull need to be closed from the height 😉

I have a question about the original ESC. Many times with my 1500mah 95C battery when the boat is moving as soon as I press too hard on the accelerator it decelerates and afterwards it goes very slowly. It is normal.

@@samuelludy6388 I bet it's the 90c lipo if a 120c and the stock C work without any problems 😉 Normaly this problem comes if you put in a bigger prop and your esc is to small / weak than it will allways cut of because the esc gets drained to much C

Yes for sure you can keep it stock but I would recommend if you also have some cars or boats get a flysky fsgt3 or a fsgt3b it's such an good and cheap radio / transmitter and the the receivers are very cheap you can save 10 different models so I highly recommend it but you didn't need to do it for the 5s setup. Hey mein bester, Du musst den esc tauschen damit du 5s fahren kannst den Empfänger / Fernbedienung must du nicht tauschen ich habe diese Fernbedienung für alle meine Fahrzeuge also bitte diese eine und setze in jedes Auto oder boot den Empfänger ein so kann ich mir 10 Fernbedienungen sparen Sie kann nämlich 10 Modelle abspeichern dazu ist sie sehr gut und günstig auch die Empfänger dafür sollte mal einer kaputt gehen kann ich mir empfehlen 👍🏽 Meinst du wie lange der 5s lipo hält? Paulo Paios sorry can't open your link don't know why 🤔 For sure it's more stress on the parts but it works very good till now and upgrade other parts is always recommend or better but still not necessary for driving on 4-5 a lipo. You don't have that much shake and vibration when you will put in an INRUNNER Motor But then you will loose the self righting feature. Nice regards

Hi, I don't know what you mean with engine break 🤔? You have to set the esc to forward + reverse. And the punch to full so you are able to self righting 😉 but even with the stock esc and 4s lipo that problem can show up last week's I went out with my Feilun FT011 she turned around 3 times on the head and came back 2 times very easily 1 time I had to play a little bit with forward and reverse throttle. Always very important for self righting feature everything had to stay on its places, if lipo is to heavy or on the wrong place or not fixed 100% or the esc you will have issues with the self righting feature. You really didn’t have to cut the stock ESC. Just solder connectors on new ESC, connect it to the motor and switch 2 of the cables if the motor spins the wrong way.

Hey my Friend 😊, Yes for sure I have the joysway super mono x same as the ft012 look my other videos you can take this same rudder upgrading the motor to 4s isn't that nice you know the boat is very small and jumps a lot. I tested a bigger prop with an high C rated 3s lipo that's very very nice an really enough for that boat the problem is the Stock 30a esc shuts down after a few seconds. So upgrading to an small 50a esc put on a bigger prop and take a good high C rated 3s lipo is an very nice Upgrade for this small sized boats 😉 I'll help how I can just let me know Stay safe ✌️🏽 😊

Hey my Friend, Hmm that sounds strange 🤔 2 easy problems to fix... - maybe you have to change the motor wires. - maybe you have to set the Throttle range right like in the description from the Flycolor Esc user booklet. That would be the first I would try.... Did you only change the esc or was your stock one before damaged? Did you take the stock transmitter and receiver? Nice regards

Ah okay no problem 😉 The 5s lipo is 2000mah so nearly the same run time like the stock 4s lipo. Yes it's very nice after all the upgrades 😉🤙🏽 Nice regards ✌️🏽

Warum lötet man die Stecker nicht direkt? Und die Halterung des ESC hätte man auch anpassen können. So knallt man mind 200g Heisskleber da rein. Irgendwie sieht das mehr nach Bastelei als nach Modellbau aus.

Danke für den tolles feedback 😁👍🏽 Warum sollte ich direkt andere stecker anlöten vom lipo wenn ich zig Arten in zig verschiedenen fahrzeugen habe da arbeite ich gerne mit adaptern warum auch nicht? Vieles kann man immer irgendwie anders machen,aber warum sollte es deswegen kein Modellbau seien 🤔? Modellbau ist immer basteln es gibt viele Leute mit Zeit, Lust,Geld,Werkzeuge und andere wiederum nicht. Die meisten meiner Follower sind nicht von der Traxxas / Arrma und Co. Brigade und schätzen es auch wenn dinge einfach umgesetzt werden 👌🏽 Alles Gute

@@a-ztube Ich sparch nicht davon ANDERE Stecker zu löten. Sondern den DORT gezeigten direkt zu löten, statt diese komische Kabelverbindung zu setzen. Erst lesen, dann antworten.

@@a-ztube Weil ich meine Meinung sage? Wenn es nicht passt, muss man die Kommentarfunktion deaktivieren. Ansonsten muss man damit rechnen, dass es Leute gibt, die eben anderer Meinung sind. Achtso - Anrede Du wird immer gross geschrieben. Soviel zum Thema Höflichkeit. Aber gut, der Bogen um den Kanal wird sehr gross sein.

😂 den Song kannte ich bis dahin nicht ist halt ein Hintergrund song aus der KZfaq library 😁👍🏽 Kommt drauf an was du vor hast und ob es dir Platz technisch was ausmacht. Ft012 geht ganz locker mit funke in einen Rucksack bei der ft011 wird das nichts zb. FT011 ist durch die Größe etwas stabil er und fährt etwas schneller auf 5s natürlich einiges mehr.

@@a-ztube vielen Dank für deine schnelle Antwort ich bin ein absoluter Anfänger und möchte ungern selber dran basteln . Bei Amazon sehe ich ft012 und bei manchen steht auch upgraded. Keine Ahnung was da dann besser ist..bei ft012 denke ich automatisch dass es besser und schneller als ft011 ist. Auch mit dem mitgelieferten Akku ist ft011 schneller als da ft012 ?

Gerne mein bester kein Problem 😉👍🏽 Nein ist leider nicht der Fall ich sage mal grob die ft012 ist 30cm groß und fährt auf 3s lipo ( Batterie) und die ft011 ist ca 65cm groß und fährt auf 4s lipo ( batterie) was schneller ist. Dazu kommt noch durch die Größe kannst du mir der FT011 auch bei etwas unruhigem Wasser fahren holland Nord Deutschland wie auch immer mit der kleinen ft012 bist du schon eher auf einen ruhigen see gebunden sonst fliegt und taucht das Teil mehr als es fährt. Falls du banggood noch nicht kennst würde ich dir empfehlen dir dort per app einen Account zu machen dann bekommst du zum eh günstigeren Preis als bei Amazon ( kommt auch aus China siehe Lieferzeiten) auch noch 10% bei der ersten Bestellung. @@a-ztube mega nice für deine ausführliche Antwort danke ich dir sehr..das hat mir total geholfen .. habe direkt meine eBay Bestellung von 156 Euro ft011 storniert 😁 Ich bin super gespannt das Teil geht ja voll ab.. Hab das syma Spielzeug q7 aber 20 kmh ultra lahm.. Ich gebe dir gerne Bescheid wenn es angekommen ist.. hoffe da läuft kein Wasser rein und hat auch diesen doppelten Deckel wie die syma. Und haha nice..wegen Haare. Zieh durch und mach ne ht 😁🤙

Rich Hair mehr als gerne mein bester dafür ist der Kanal da 😉🤙🏽 Auf jedenfall gib mir bescheid wenn das Teil da ist und die ein oder andere Modifikation wie zb der metal propeller bringt dir in ein par Sekunden nochmal mehr Dampf wirst nicht enttäuscht seien von dem Boot 😉👍🏽 Minimal Wasser hast du immer im Boot,aber kein Thema und ja die FT011 hat auch die zwei Deckel 👍🏽 Werde mir heute abend erstmal ein paar deiner Videos ansehen 😁👍🏽 Bis dahin alles Gute

News & More mag seien mit dem richtigen Motor kv Set up und Prop geht das definitiv 😉 wenn du den Standard Motor,aber hast nicht. Welches Set up fährst du? LG
