This video shows the main advantages of the new Feldbinder Auto loading lid. Safety was at the forefront of this development with the aim of reducing working at height and manual handling efforts. The operator no longer has to handle the manlid whilst on the tank top; instead they can operate from ground level and remain on the platform during loading. A unique feature is the inflating / deflating seal, anchored inside the lid the seal is protected from contamination and wear. During operation the seal is sucked into the lid by means of a vacuum. The lid also features a pivot hinge, when open this allows access to the underside of the lid for ease of cleaning and maintenance requirements. The design adds no addition to overall height and only a small amount of extra weight, approx 15kg. Auto lids have been available in sliding rails for a number of years but these have limitations when used with dusty products. This new FFB innovation remains pressure tight during transport and has been designed to work with all types of dusty products such as cement and other construction materials; the lid swivels to the side ensuring any split product is swept away and does not prevent movement or resealing.

Neu ist, dass Fahrer*innen bei der Beladung nicht mehr auf den Behälter steigen müssen, da die elektronische Ansteuerung zum Öffnen und Schließen vom Boden aus erfolgt.
Ein weiterer Vorteil zur Verwendung der Schwenkdomdeckel ergibt sich daraus, dass die Dichtung im Deckel verankert und somit vor Verschmutzung und Verschleiß geschützt ist. Die Dichtung wird während des Öffnens und Schließens mittels Vakuum in den Deckel gesogen.
Optional bietet Feldbinder das System noch mit einer Abreinigung an, die zur Reinigung der Dichtfläche dient.
