@timeghost1829 жыл бұрын
Will Howarth The scene your talking about is the greatest scene in cinematic history. It can be disected over and over. It is loaded with foreshadowing, symbolism, and themes. But yes that brief moment where Poot looks at his best friend and pleads for him to run....it's flawless. They both know whats about to happen. It fucked Poot up so bad he ends up working in that shoe store later. He quits the game because of that. And Bodie....what a true soldier. He embraces it. He went out harder than anyone, ever.
@LEXeroma6 жыл бұрын
I just saw his death on youtube the other day and boy does it hurt everytime. There really is so much going on in that one scene. Bodie was one of my favorites on the show so that's probably the roughest death on the show for me. It was so fast, Bodie didn't even know what hit him. I thought they would drag it out a little bit longer but nope. This show shows time and time again what really happens. You can get blasted by a 9yr old while buying a pack of smokes. A show like the Wire was too epic to be consumed by the masses initially. It’s like a comment on society. Meanwhile, stupid shit wins praise. This show here? Keeps getting better. I still learn about stuffed I missed one the previous 20 watches. The acting. I mean, everyone was brilliant. Amazing shit, this show was/is.

chris: "no matter who he is or what he done you look him right in the eye" 10:35 snoop and chris both lean sideways to stare at butchie's dead eyes the attention to detail is unreal

"No need to bring your iron. I got a fresh one with shaved numbers". That's we're she fucked up at. T-Pain - Bartender. Whenever I hear that song I think of Snoop and her pretty hair. RIP Snoop. You was a beast of a female. Word

"Deserve aint got nothing to do with it, its his time is all".....classic line from snoop, realized some time ago that people don't always get what they deserve, when they want....gotta realize that GOD orchestrates all life timelines....

I loved how the ppl commented on this and thought about the scenarios and symbolism of the actors and the writing. This was life in most of the inner cities where drugs were flooded into the hood, once the white middle class started to be affected, the criminalization of drug policies began to change. But this is the life of a few that happens every day.
