My current cats are Usually on the bed when I wake up. For 9 years asher that sleeps by my head will snuggle in as I press snooze. It's the best way to start the day to have purrs and cuddles and playtime ❤❤❤

My Tomi started waking me up in the middle of the night by jumping on my stomach. She'd never done it before but was now doing it a few times a week. That lasted for about a month until the pain came. I was feeling so badly I went to see the doctor. Low and behold, I needed treatment. My beautiful girl diagnosed me before I knew I was sick. She's never done it again. I have three that live exclusively indoors and 10 homeless and feral that live on my porch. I have shelters for them and a gal affiliated with the City brings food for them monthly. All have been neutered and spayed except one sneaky male. At least he won't be adding to my Colony. I feel so lucky to have these amazing creatures in my life. My husband died recently and my cats have given me a reason to go on. Feeding and cleaning takes two hours a day. I love them all and I'm happy I have someone to talk to.

I wake up for work at 03:30 and usually wake my cat up in the process. She follows me around, squawking, until I sit down and give her a treat before I leave. She falls asleep on the couch where she got the treat and stays put until I get home at noon, at which point the energizer bunny switch turns on 😅

My two cats definitely wake me up. Usually with gentle claws to my face or upper body.

My cat (Martin) wakes me up every morning in one of four ways. 1. Cuddling and head buts and purring. 2. Biting me on the but cheek. 3. Biting me on the back of the thighs. & 4. Biting me on the back of my heels. (lol)

I don't know- my four kittens have pretty much the same sleep schedule as me besides they take a couple more naps a day. Im a night owl. I stay up until about 3am.. I'm a single mom, so that's pretty much the only ME time I don't have to answer to anybody. The kittens go to bed at the same time as me (zoomies around 1 or 2 am) they are almost a year old. They are definitely very lovable in the morning. I usually wake to 2 of them cuddling in between my legs sleeping on a soft blanket. I think sometimes they get up a little bit earlier than I do, but they are quiet and chill. They just wait for me to wake up. I also put them down for a nap in the middle of the day when I take a nap because I sleep such a weird schedule. I always need a nap, sometimes two. I call them literal cat naps because Im napping with them, usually only 30-60 mins. My lifestyle is definitely not for everybody but it works well for me. I always had the best kids also , they would wake up in the morning and turn cartoons on and let me sleep a lil bit until they wanted breakfast. I am blessed as a single mom and my kids are my everything. My cats too. My older cats. I cannot speak on their sleep schedule, I do not keep them in the room with me all the time. Sometimes I do and they seem to sleep right through also. I definitely feed them as soon as I get up or as soon as my kids leave for school. They are on such a tight routine. I love it.

#5 is cynical but true. My cat wants to be fed as soon as I wake up (This might also be because I started feeding her when I get up to keep her out of the bathroom so I can shower.).

My cat, Esther, is definitely the most affectionate in the morning. She’s almost always in my bed when my alarm goes off. We like to snooze, so I get up and top up her bowl (she has free access to her food 24/7) and then go right back to bed, and after she eats her breakfast she comes back to join me in bed for a nice long snoozing and cuddling session. It’s the best way to start the day ☺️

When I was younger I always thought my cats were just weird wanting to be in the bathroom with me when trying to 💩😂, but i learned later why they do it. Makes perfect sense now
