This continuation of "Narcos" explores the origins of the modern drug war by going back to its roots, starting at a time when the Mexican trafficking world was a loose, disorganized confederation of independent growers and dealers. It's the 1980s, and Felix Gallardo takes the helm of the Guadalajara Cartel, unifying traffickers to build an empire. As DEA agent Kiki Camarena moves his wife and young son from California to Guadalajara to take on a new post, he learns his assignment is more challenging than he imagined. A tragic chain of events unfolds as Camarena gains intelligence on Gallardo and becomes more entangled in the mission.

It was this idiot who kidnapped a minister’s daughter. It was this same idiot who kidnapped DEA agent and murdered him. This guy was bad for business. Sure Rafa was a master farmer but he is not build for the big game like Felix. Rafa is stupid. If Rafa didn’t order the kidnapping and torturing murdering of camarena then Felix organisation wouldn’t have been abandoned by his politician friends and DFS and the whole lot of them. Felix could have stopped the new mexican president from even coming to power and till now felix wouldn’t have fallen. It was all RAFA RAFA RAFA. When you have put a crown on a dog it’s hard to put a leash on it again

Rafa was the catalyst to their downfall. He did stupid things that completely put the business in jeopardy. So I can't really blame Felix for turning Rafa in. I just think Felix should've been upfront with Rafa at least, and tell him, that he's turning him over to the FEDS to save the organization. Rafa kidnapped the governors daughter, and Rafa betrayed Felix by going along with the plan to kidnap the DEA agent Kiki. So it's only right that Rafa took the downfall. But when Felix betrayed Neto, I adamantly disgreed with it, that was plain out wrong. Because Neto always did right by Felix, he never stepped out of line, but Rafa went against Felix a few times with his wild cowboy antics. So I had no sympathy for Rafa.

This isn’t all true in real life. He did so some stupid shit. But it’s not as bad as it seems. Once Felix started moving coke they wanted him the (DEA).

@@ejakathebeast My comment is specifically responding to the show, not the details of real life. Secondly, although moving into the coke business definitely brought Felix more attention and heat. Rafa Signing off on Kidnapping a USA DEA agent was by far the greatest factor that accelerated Felix’s downfall in the show.

Es cuando se domina la mayor parte de la cuota de mercado si algo, por ejemplo, Amazon se consideraría un monopolio. Pablo / Medellín y Cali somos monopolios, dominaban la mayor parte del tráfico de drogas en el mundo en ese momento. Poseían la mayor parte y la mayoría de las drogas provenían de ellos.

They’re talking about the actors being in a different show (Andor). Felix in the show (not real life) had Rafa be caught thinking it would save him. But in real life they all got caught.
