Felix.. you have a very very good understanding of wood and it's properties. When you add your innovative improvisational use of the SAK to you your advanced knowledge of wood, you get an incredible ability ... it is great that you teach us all those things ... well done my friend J

Danke! Bleib behütet, Grüßle Gunde

Well said Paula... i was one of those huge knife guys but i've since seen the light (due to Felix along with a few other folks and also being forced to live in NYC for a while which has very restrictive knife laws). I'm totally rocking the SAK dad style.... works great for nearly everything and you can wipe it out at the park or wherever while with your kids and not get looked at like you are rambo.

This one looked like a magic trick. I had some doubts about how well it would work. I had to go outside and try it right away and it worked. I would have never thought of this one. It is easier or harder depending on what type of wood you have. The very hard dense wood was much more difficult to split using this method and the softer wood was easier to split using this method. Thanks !!!
