@@melonmovies4000 silencing won’t work if you want the alarm to stop. To turn on airplane mode, swipe up on your phone screen and press the little airplane, and it will turn yellow. If this still confuses you, you can also power it off to make the alarm not go off.

Their clocks apparently aren't right cause we got the alert earlier than stated. What's even more interesting is me and my husband got a Presidential Alert with a Red Triangle, our daughter got an Emergency Alert with a Yellow Triangle. Same carrier, same county yet different alerts. But all earlier than 2:20 eastern time.

Android has some form of protection. I'm not sure to what extent because I did not appreciate the Amber alert going off in the middle of the night a few times. I disengaged Amber Alert. I haven't had any issues since then. When that alart goes off at 3 am, it scares the devil out of you!

If you have a pacemaker or a hearing implant, you should really be careful. They are doing a broad spectrum test. Odds are if you have electrical device in your body your gonna have a real problem
