@JuanAppleseed-ge6tb Жыл бұрын
It has been YEARS since I've heard somebody else mention Misery, Agony, and Heartbreak! 💯 I was Apache Troop 5/15. It isn't possible to describe watching the trail zig-zag and wrap around hills and disappear into a canyon. It was maybe 4 or 5 in the morning, PITCH BLACK, when we hit the canyon, and the only thing you could see were the chem lights strapped to everybody's helmets so you knew where to follow. All of a sudden you notice the chem lights going out one by one. You didn't realize until you got there that the ground started going downwards at a 45% angle 😂 by the time you understood what was happening, you figured out that you were going to have walk upwards at a 45% angle the same exact distance. Just a long line of ants with chem lights going down into the darkness and rising up again. Now THAT was a ruck march. The most fun I never want to have again.
