A female torso carved by hand from a piece of Cherry wood.
As the carving progressed, the wood dried out further, to the point where it cracked, both up the back and down the front. I have not done anything with these cracks, they are simply part of the sculpture.
The piece was half of a 4ft log given to me by some friends. The other half has already become her partner, a male torso to match. Keep your eye out for it, there's a video of that as well!
