Just a suggestion vithika when you pull out menstrual cup, you need to press the cup down with your index finger or any finger you are comfortable with and release the vacuum which the cup creates while attaching to the vagina wall, and then slowly remove it. If you just pull with the tip in the course of using the tip will tear or the vaginal wall could also cause a tear so by pushing down the cup with finger, you release the vacuum and it's easier to pull the cup out

Very useful & knowledgeable video!! I have been using menstrual cup since 2years, switching to menstrual cup from sanitary pads is a big decision at that time for me. When the first time I used it I was very nervous that something was there inside my body but later sometime as you said “my periods were like NO PERIOD DAYS” and I’m enjoying my period days too no rashes nothing. Since that time I have been suggesting my best friend to use it but till now she didn’t, she is very nervous & afraid that what if it struck inside my body. I have tried many times educating her nothing seems to workout. I’m kind of person like knowing about your body is nothing wrong, in-fact have to know about your body there is nothing shy about it. I started using menstrual cup when am 18 and trust me its a game changer akka seriously I motivated many of my friends just like you to use and they thank me now. my sister 15 yrs even she started using , thisetapud you need to pinch it and remove anthey you'll it 💕

Really appreciate you educating women on these things vithika. I just wanna share my experience here, I’ve been using menstrual cups from last 1year and asking my friends n family members to use the same. Although there are many benefits of using cups. The reason why I started using cups was only becos of these reasons: 1. These are environment friendly 2. No harsh chemicals like pads 3. Cost effective However this would be most convenient while ur at home or when you’ve proper access to hygiene bathrooms. But this gets difficult to manage when you’re travelling like in public buses/trains elsewhere. Here I’m listing my points. 1. Always wear a cloth napkin to avoid accidental leakages when ur cup is full or not inserted properly. 2. Empty it for every 6-10hrs or when it is full 3. Can’t use while travelling as you will have to squat to insert/remove and need clean water to empty and wash it.
