The female Starling sought some quiet time in the nesting box to lay her fourth egg, but the male Starling attempted to enter the box. However, the female prevented him from doing so by lashing out with her beak. Once she had laid her egg, she called the male back into the box, and they shared an intimate moment of cuddling to celebrate the arrival of the new egg.
