At California’s Institution for Men in Chino, there are 78 female transgender prisoners living among more than 3,500 men. Put them in their own pod. Do not put in female prison.

Ask women prisoners if they’d feel safe with these men in their prison. That would have been more realistic.

I think if you want to go ahead and identify as a "transgender woman" then you go ahead and request to be in a separate cell block with other transgender women. I am fine with that policy but sending biological men into a women's prison is outrageous and vice versa.

They wanna be housed with women for safety reasons but yet they have done years in a male prison and haven’t been killed yet…seems like they are just fine to me

Fear for their safety? So freakin’ what?! It’s prison, literally every inmate fears for their safety; that’s why they have so many cliques. If they feel threatened enough, they can request to be put in protective custody like the child molesters do.

DO NOT PUT THESE MEN IN WOMENS PRISONS. The amount of women who are incarcerated who have been physically, sexually and mentally abused by men is unfortunately a catastrophic number and putting any man (even one in a dress with some lipstick) in their prison cell with them could be the most traumatizing thing you could possibly do.
