@@touchlight_studios Ah so you're conflating a means of communication with masking/ lack of understanding/appreciation of one's identity. The more languages, or more widely spoken language one speaks, is generally an advantage (BTW, if all you speak is Mandarin you'll be more than fine in today's world, so try not to sweat English so much). However, if you take on someone else's identity (including names), multiple identities all at the detriment of your own, that is a recipe for disaster. That is the point friend. Just as an aside..your written English is pretty bad...given how you've stood up for the language, I would have expected your writing to be flawless.

So your purview may be true to you but not to someone else, hence, the need for a rebuttal. Understand that Seun is probably an Ifa worshipper, he believes what he believed because that's his own world view. As a consequence his believes shouldn't be imposed on other people. He can't just bring up some books and conclude that whatsoever is written in them is absolutely correct.

@@adeoluosibodu. @adeoluosibodu9547 I've listened to both sides. The Pastor isn't entirely wrong in his depiction about the subject at hand, so also is Seun not entirely wrong. Go back and view his illustration about the matter. He even ridiculed that Christ didn't raise Lazarus from death because someone wrote about it. In fact the Rosicrucians also believed that Christ didn't die because it was told that his grave was found somewhere around India. All these sort of writings are presumptions. So Seun was particular about mocking Christ and Christians because he worships some form of dark forces. Now you tell me what do you believe, whom do you consider Lord?

@@victorkash7486 it’s only dark because you don’t believe in it. He asked practical questions. What has Christianity done for the country? Look. You can’t be so blindsided as to not want to live in reality. It’s straightforward. It’s simple. Was CMS grammar school not formerly a slave holding house? Was Unilever Nigeria not formerly a slave trading company? Did the same Europeans who enslaved your ancestors and set us back centuries not the same people who indoctrinated you? How many people do we have today even talking about these things. One of the few people who do, you’re speaking grammar which by the way is the colonialists language. @Seun I enjoy the reading book. Description: The classic work that refutes the lies we tell ourselves about race, poverty, and the poor. Here are three myths about poverty in America: - Minority children perform poorly in school because they are “culturally deprived.” - African-Americans are handicapped by a family structure that is typically unstable and matriarchal. - Poor people suffer from bad health because of ignorance and lack of interest in proper health care. Blaming the Victim was the first book to identify these truisms as part of the system of denial that even the best-intentioned Americans have constructed around the unpalatable realities of race and class

The connection between the Merovingian dynasty and Jesus Christ is a topic that has been popularized by speculative theories and works of fiction, rather than established historical evidence. One of the most famous speculative claims involves the idea that the Merovingian kings were descendants of Jesus Christ and Mary Magdalene. This theory suggests that Jesus and Mary Magdalene were married or had a relationship that produced offspring, and that their descendants eventually became the rulers of the Merovingian dynasty in what is now France. These claims have been popularized in modern times by books like "The Holy Blood and the Holy Grail" by Michael Baigent, Richard Leigh, and Henry Lincoln, as well as Dan Brown's novel "The Da Vinci Code." These works propose that there was a secret bloodline stemming from Jesus and Mary Magdalene, and that this lineage was protected over the centuries by various groups, including the Knights Templar and the Priory of Sion. It's important to emphasize that these theories are not supported by credible historical evidence. The majority of scholars and historians reject these claims as unfounded or based on misinterpretations of historical texts and a lack of reliable documentation. The traditional and widely accepted understanding of Christian history does not support the idea that Jesus was married or had children, nor is there any historical evidence linking the Merovingian dynasty to such a lineage. These theories should be regarded as speculative and belonging more to the realm of fiction and conspiracy theories than to established historical fact.

People generally are very easy to deceive. Now because you have read a book, which is essentially someone's perspective doesn't mean you know the facts, you need to clarify the pieces of information within. I will try to address some points made: (1) About the killing of twins, The people who used to practice the killing of twins said this was their culture long before any European stepped foot on their land. But pan-Africanists like Seun who like to play the victim are revising history to suit their convoluted perspective. There is no record to back this claim that Europeans convinced Calabar to kill their twins. (2) Seun talked about African kings fighting against slavery, This is junk history. The wars fought by African kingdoms with European invaders were fought over sovereignty and not slavery. African kings sold and gifted slaves to other African kingdoms, Arab Muslims, Europeans and whoever could afford it willingly, it was a big part of their economy. (3) Seun talked about how people were willing and happy to be buried with dead kings. This is another fabricated piece of history by a desperate pan-Africanist. I grew up in Benin where this ritual was practiced. The people did not want to be buried alive with the dead kings, Africans are not stupid. In fact, the warriors of ancient Benin kingdoms used to go on raids to capture slaves that would be buried with the Oba, that is how they got the slaves. No Benin man in his right senses would submit himself to that kind of devilish practice. Will Seun allow himself to be buried alive with Oni of Ife?. (4) He said that human sacrifices were people the society rejected and criminals, Another bloody lie. Queen Iden of the Benin kingdom was sacrificed, she was buried alive at the request of the gods, she was the queen, not a reject, not a criminal. I could go on and on debunking Seun's rant of misinformation. His video is filled with so many inaccuracies. However the most ironic of all is his claim to respecting his "ancestors". You lay claim to those ancestors who did not accept Christianity or Islam and you reject and mock and insult those who accepted it, how are you any different from Femi Lazarus who does the opposite?.

@@documentarycog3464 My argument is not about who stopped the killing of twins. Seun insinuated that the practice was introduced by Christian missionaries maybe "unintentionally" by suggesting to the Calabar people that worshipping twins is a sin. Same thing i always think... the boldness against christianity but hide their tail on islam. Many of them will even attack religion and u think wen they mean religion, they will be all inclusive but wen u hear dem, it is always about christianity.. truly christianity has its flaws. In fact many, but so also other religions.... but it seems their boldness always comes to christianity.

Exactly, but don't fret. One of the attributes of light is that it exposes and reveals things, it makes you uncomfortable, it shows when your'e naked, I'm not suprise that they always try to attack christianity, we are light, and wherever we go, darkness and evil is revealed.

Religion is used to keep people quiet and not talk about what really matters. Unfortunately, we can't expect any less from the people (African Christians) that have been so mentally manipulated that that say prayers against their ancestors in the form of breaking spiritual ties and influences because they are perceived as negative or incompatible with the Christian faith and teachings. Whilst the descendants of slave traders honour and celebrate their ancestors, viewing them as important figures in their history and heritage. And of course continue to enjoy the ties and influences of their ancestral practices, which funny enough is contrary to Christian teachings.

You're not spiritually informed obviously.. If your ancestors served idols who are not one and the same with the only living God. And I Pray Against Their Practices And Pray To Disengage From The Atrocities Many Of Them Perpetuated And Separate My Self From Any Bonds And Covenants. That's me speaking against my ancestors? Because that's the perspective of prayer pastors always preach from, Not That Ancestors in Totality are of the Devil, Truth Is Many Were And Once You're able to trace it back, You Do The Needful in the place of prayer.. Don't be swayed By Every Wind Of Information

Femi Lazarus is just a smart Nigerian trying to protect his business like every other pastors will do. He needs to go back to his theology school and ask about the Life Lazarus lived after he rose from the dead and why the Bible was silent about some verses in the Bible.
