Surely if he was so keen on settling down with a non African woman, he should be ready to adapt to different cultures and learn to be supportive to his partner and baby . I do not believe that African men can not be in the delivery room or cook for their family when required to. Marwa is indeed so stuck in his village ways.

And yet in really African culture, a man should not impregnate a girl before marriage. He must have a traditional wedding and pay the bride price. He knows that but he forced her to have his child. I'm an African woman married to an African man,we have 3 children ,my husband was in he delivery room and cut all 3 of our babies umbilical cords. Maybe it depends with the African country one is from as there is 54 of them with different traditional practices and beliefs. Despite this we all have a lot in common.

Most women know how to cook and if they don’t then learn.When I got married I was 21 years old and didn’t know how to turn the stove on. I realized that I have a husband and I have to learn to cook. I went back to my country and learned from my grandmother and my aunt how to cook.Today I can cook anything because my husband loves good tasting food and so does my son.

If Marwa were open to diverse food he would have Cook food from other cultures are very easy to cook and take a little time. Imagine if he knows how to make spaghetti, how to cook rice, even to make that chapadi etc etc. And it's strange that Marwa cannot even know how to make barbecue meat that really the man's job.
