oh boy, you got all my respect for sewing this sequined fabric! this is a mightmare to handle! so much luxury on this outfit... and your partial reroot trick is really something, a clever way to get a clean part (middle or side), and the forehead line. you're full of ressources! :D

As I was watching the video I just couldn’t decide what was my favorite!! First I adored the eyes for their temptress striking color in all the black and white. And then the shoooes aaah oh lord the shooes are just breathtaking. And then the gown with all its glittery passion. I think the whole doll is a favorite 🤣 I can see you putting a lot of more blank space energy into dolls that inspire you by fashion but I also relate and enjoy the cuteness dolls because that’s why I enjoy a lot. But seeing someone’s passion come into a doll like this, I cannot help but love it too! She’s amazing Jacob 🖤💖🖤 Definitely captured my heart 😵

You get some amazing coverage on your first layer! What is your version of “sealed correctly” with your msc? Light coat? Heavy? 2-3 layers? Just 1 each time? In the sun? Shade?

TorQueSS J I actually spray the dolls face twice without letting dry but they are light coverage I don’t let the face look wet(if that makes sense) always in the shade then I sit them in front of a fan to complete the drying process. Soft WC pencils are the best or pastel pencils! I can mention in an upcoming video! To try and explain better! Thanks for all your amazing comments!

savannah yancey That’s such a sweet thing to say! I truly love creating new customs and believe me I know what it’s like starting out for sure! As it will be 1 year in the hobby this month for me! Which is exciting but also I have come a very long way so definitely try it it’s very rewarding to see the finished product! Although tracking down the dolls for a decent price is a struggle 🤣

Could you glue the shoes on with a strong tacky glue/fabric glue? That way you can technically take them off if you want to remake them without damaging the doll?

Yes totally, FabriTac is what I used to secure the soles to her feet. All of my dolls are meant for display only so sometimes to achieve the look I make some parts of the customs more permanent! Thanks for commenting! Hope you come back to enjoy more customs coming soon!

So, everyone says you need to “seal with msc, correctly” but no one says how “correctly” is done? All I know is, layering really light misting type sprays, about 8-12 inches away, work for me. I covered the face once like you would with a spray paint, and it didn’t provide enough tooth. That sound right?

That sound correct you should not be able to see a wet shine when you spray it otherwise its too much! 8-12 inches away is correct and sweeping motions.

Jacob, I kno this is COMPLETELY tacky, and cheap, but can I get away with glossing the lips and eyes with clear nail enamel, until I can afford to order some liquitex?

Absolutely! You can! Nail polish is perfectly fine for glossing the lips and eyes just keep in mind they could yellow or crack over time! But this depends on the polish used! Great question!
