So interesting. I’ve always assumed that if you set foot over the fence, day or night, you’d be epically stopped within seconds by first-class security technology and guards. (I’m from Memphis but live elsewhere now) I really miss the old pavilion across the street. I spent many hours there as a kid in the 90’s while my dad worked, and as an adult in the 2000’s when I would go take the tour. The ‘diner’ near the airplane tour had a good peanut-butter-and-banana sandwich. I still remember the smell of the shops, and the smell of the main ticket center. I remember the feeling of being in those stores, enamored with everything. And, the old restaurant down by the car museum had some absolutely delicious barbecue. It was truly a fun place to spend time - Elvis music playing over the speakers, ice cream, souvenirs. Those were the days!

Thanks for the story Spa Guy. In 1989, I was a freshman in high school when my mom took us to Graceland on vacation in 1989.

I went to Graceland as a kid, I think it was in 1989 so that would have made me 9 years old. The tour bus was there, I remember that. Got to see the airplanes and the shopping center you mentioned was still there. His cars were still outside under the carport! Didn't get to see as much of the house as you can now as Aunt Delta still lived there. We think we saw her, not sure, but there was a little old lady walking outside in an area that tourists weren't allowed. That was kinda cool. Anyway, I really want to go back as I know so much has changed since then. Someday! Someday I'll get there! Great story, Spa Guy! Enjoy all your videos

Great story and great shots for an old SLR without a tripod. You are in good fence jumping company with Bruce Springsteen, his jump was 1976 if I recall. Thanks for sharing.

Spa Guy, this is the first time hearing your story. You had the nerve to do it (not saying it in a negative way), but you are a true, true Elvis fan. Should I call the light there now and lock on the gate now the Spa Guy light and lock? Ha. I wonder if security looked at what kind of footwear you had on, and looked the next day for footwear prints? Ha. It was smart of you to hide the film taken, just wish the pics turned out better for you. I am surprised security held you for what time they did, but on the other hand, they were looking out for Graceland, still for Elvis, and for the family. I am glad you mentioned not to do this today, what the security is today. (I think it was Bruce Springsteen who got over the fence, think got near the front door, but then security approached him. I think he was not well known then too.) I did love hearing your story jumping over the Graceland fence. Do you mind saying what age you were then? If not, that is okay. ❤FROM ANOTHER TRUE ELVIS FAN❤

LMAO..."Is this Graceland?" No, it's the Vatican! 😂 It seems like Elvis's security cameras back in the day did the trick. Gate jumpers seemed to always get caught, even back then, beit by Elvis, gate guards, or Memphis Mafia. The Graceland and other pics and videos from your 1988 inaugural visit are awesome. I remember several years ago seeing your video of visiting Elvis's original tomb that same weekend. Any pictures with a younger Spa Guy in them though? Would love to see younger Billy. 😎

I remember when I was in 8th grade my friends and I would watch your hot tub repo videos and laugh our asses off. I don’t know why we found it so amusing🤷♂️ I guess the thought of being able to drain and trailer a fully running hot tub from someone’s back yard in less than 30 minutes without a trace was appealing to us😂😂

What do you think about the attempt to foreclose on Graceland which appears to be a scam at this point? I don't believe there is any way Lisa used Graceland as collateral on a loan. Do you possibly have a list of books and movies Elvis kept in his private bedroom you could share?
