My friend Tom and I went on a fenced-in hog hunt for the first time ever. We appreciated Sanlida Archery and Rexpid Broadheads who sponsored this outing. If you would like to check out Rexpid Broadheads, you can use this link - www.rexpid.com...

Nice job guys, those broadheads look like they're the real deal, pigs are hard to penetrate and get full pass through. I've been on a few hog hunts over the years and I could tell you there's a huge difference on hunting a 400-800 acre fenced area or thousands of Acres! We went to Choctaw in Oklahoma where they have thousands of acres and it was very difficult to get close and kill pigs if they smelled you or knew you were in the area they wouldn't come within a hundred yards or so if at all, but in smaller fenced in areas of only a few hundred acres you can get within 30 yards of them or they would come pretty close to you and its easy to take those.

Nice hunt, Sean. Congratulations!!! The Rexpid with the rotating head will also allow the blades to keep going straight into the animal while the shaft continues to rotate freely, thus imparting all its energy into the broadhead. A rotating head going into flesh will lose energy as it corkscrews through the flesh.

An Aussie here, if you drop any livestock in a new paddock they will travel hit the fence and follow it to see if there is away out, so following the fence line around makes sence and raises the chance of coming on to them.

I have a question does wild pig or farmed pig taste better I tried one “wild pig” but it was at a store and I didn’t know the difference I’m wondering what does fresh wild pig taste like
@seansoutdoors

This one I shot was basically farm raised and tasted just like store bought so I’m not sure about a truly wild one.
