In this video, we're going to discover what precast concrete H-columns are. Also, I visited a 50x100 plot located in Athi River that used precast concrete panels and H-columns for fencing. And the soil was black cotton soil. Enjoy!

Fencing using stones will always be cheaper. 1 million for 50 by 100 is expensive

The focus here is on durability and quality not just the pricing. They say cheap is always expensive. With precast wall panels you'll never need to repair your wall or use extra cement for finishing the wall . It's simply installing and your wall is ready

H-Beam @ ksh3500 and wall panel @ ksh2600. Each H-beam was 3.1m and each panel I used was 3m. Panels are 600mm wide so I used 4 to give fence height of 2.4m

Very nice precast wall fencing. Just add some lean to inward sloping roofing off of the wall and you have a house!

@@ruthmwi28 courtyard homes have the center open to the outside. So if you are building a substantial precast concrete panel wall/fence you have completed a substantial portion of a courtyard home. All that is needed next is roof sections that slope down from the wall towards the open space courtyard in the center of the property.

Hi Nick, i watch your programs from Dar es salaam TZ and i am very impressed and excited with the prefab solutions, i once used a local supplier to build a fence and it was comparatively expensive than brick walls. Just curious if Kingdom precast panels have a plant in Dar es salaam or associates therein so i get their service.

Hi Nick l now understand very well from Engineer Ian. What if l just precast at the front where there's the gate first, is that possible and how many of them will l need and how much will that cost. In short, is it possible to fence the front alone?

Yes you can. If the front is 50 feet, you'll need around 20 panels. If it's 100 feet, you'll need 40 panels

This is still very expensive as compared to MATOFARI (brick) wall... Hapa kwetu tunapika matofari nice orange color once burned, then i get local fundi to do it in 1 week... really cheaper than 3000/1m...

Burnt bricks are definitely cheaper. Precast panels are for those who want a concrete wall but don't want to use stone blocks. Interlocking soil blocks are an alternative to burnt bricks, not precast panels

i have a few issues to raise-ARCHITECT BY PROFFESION.On the moulding bit-the concrete footing are on the neighbours plot/border some neighbours may not be ok with that-how do you guys tackle that???? 2.engineer did not explain the joinery bit for the corner Hcolumns 3.The joinery between H column and base....are they just inntegrated in the columns from the foundation base 4.Can the factory/manufacturer make SPECIAL CORNER H BEAMS???instead of the joinery method using motar

1. Maybe the client had a discussion with the neighbour 2. I think the company is investing in the machine that makes the corner panels. I'm not sure though. 3. 2 prestressed concrete h columns are used for the corners
