A guitar demo of an Fender 60th Anniversary Stratocaster followed by an overview of the repair work done to bring out the best in this guitar. You will see the basic steps of a fret dress, removing finish from the frets, bridge detailing and finally a simple high pass filter mod to the volume control.
It's an interesting look at a maple fingerboard that a previous owner attempted to clean the frets and only managed to put light scratches in the finish. This DIY guitar repair mistake was resolved during the work.
Fender installs their frets and then applies the finish to maple fingerboards so only the very tops of the fret crowns have finish removed from the factory. The fret crowns don't generally get re-shaped the way they do on other guitars because of that finish.
This guitar is SOLD.
