Hi Aziz, Whilst I totally endorse what you’re suggesting and describing, i just want to recommend to anyone watching (who may be relatively or totally inexperienced with electronics) that taking the back off of a valve amp is a risky business even when ‘off’ due to the high (stored) voltages….so firstly, switch off and unplug totally from the mains, leave for about 15mins and enjoy a cup of tea to (hopefully!) allow the voltages to drain away down to safer levels, and generally avoid touching the wiring and components on the circuit board and inside the chassis. The Valves, reverb tank and speakers as you’ve described are far less of an issue to handle.

I do own Fender amps involving Blues Junior yet I do love versatility of them and I am Greg by the way who commented during your Facebook livestream lol

The Main issue I had with mine was the PCB for the valves. Even the close have the same problem and that is the PCB is single sided and the tracks are too close together and over time they overheat and the tracks start to arc and melt. Fortunately there is a company based in okehampton that sell on ebay and they do replacement double sided boards for these amps and you just unsolder the multi cables and solder these in and the split the traces over both sides of the board and they are twice as thick. so if you amp ever starts to arc or go pop a lot its a relatively easy fix. Fab amp though. (as the is Belcat clone if your on a budget though that amp needs a few mods)

Intrigued to see the valves. Is there still a specialist manufacturer of these historic pieces or are you all scavenging from thousands of u/s kit?
