I have this guitar, and I think it’s one of the best guitars I own including my Fender Custom Shop guitars. My Lincoln Brewster signature Strat is equally as fantastic too and actually has very similar specs. The neck and middle pickups are killer too! I wish I knew what they were most similar too, because I would put them in all my strats! I’m thinking of swapping the noiseless hot bridge pickup out for a Humbucker with a brown tortoise shell pickguard.

Bruno Mars said he wanted a guitar that could take it's users to the finish line. One he could personally use at a live show or as a workhorse in the studio. Only thing it's lacking is a bridge humbucker. Love that its routed for a HSH configuration ❤

As much as I dislike Bruno Mars (which is a lot) that is one very impressive Stratocaster. Love the color, and that bridge pickup is ridiculous in the best way. Cool demo. 😎

This is a Fender Ultra Luxe stratocaster but for $3000 instead of $2750. What is this offering aside from custom Bruno Mars pickups, gold plated hardware?

First time I've ever seen the trem claw screwed all the way to the body? With 3 springs.. normally the claw is at least at 1 inch away from the body.. The springs seem to be different color, darker.. Even with these settings you can definately hear that the bridge is woobly.. I find the guitar is too mellow, like if the tension of the strings was too loose. Maybe this tone character is a consequence of strange trem and springs?

Great-looking guitar! I wasn’t crazy about the sound-I expect a Strat, or a Tele for that matter, to have some snap. And this didn’t snap! Looks cool, though.

Why oh why would you only have 21 frets and a heel adjusted truss rod? Makes no sense to me at all. Why have a modern neck heel cutaway, modern locking tuners, a two point bridge and then make it less modern with 21 frets and a truss rod you can only adjust by dismantling the guitar?

Looks like the same one from the American Pro II / American Ultra. It's cold rolled steel if so. It's not the full size of a vintage style block but still sounds good.

I just did a demo on several fender guitar's. Theres no inspiration at the bottom and for youths to ever want to learn, the guitqrs have to be better and cost less. You may say thats happened. 2 thousand dollars is too much. The ultra lux plays nice but a player can be upgraded to that for way less. Guess they only want to appeal to the rich guy. I can get all of that in another guitar for far less. As you can tell, I'm mad at fender.

I work at a big music retailer and comparing them the bruno mars signature comes a lot closer to an American ultra than a vintera. Only real difference is the noiseless pickups in the ultra.

I'm pretty sure the consensus is that Bruno Mars has about as much right to a signature Strat (or any other kind of guitar) as any of your basic pop stars, which is no right at all. The major guitar companies don't need this kind of "publicity", but if they want to honor musicians they should do just that instead of this ridiculous travesty.
