This was the very first guitar I ever bought (okay, my dad actually bought it for me). I was 14 years old and it was the 4th of July. My dad took me to Guitar Center and said, "Pick what you want". This was it. Needless to say, I've had this guitar for a very long time and will soon be taking it to a tech and having it gone over. Throw a JB in it you wont regret it.No feedback,I replaced all of the pickups.Trem bar is also low from recess.I got used to it then went to my Beretta ,,Buy a floyd rose original Bar it works.Strings so close to the body on strats with recess floyd pocket.

I have the same year made in Korea 2 dbl humbukers through neck all blue with all black parts no pick guard 1 tone 1 volume. Picked it up new back in 2001 It's my main love it.

I was given one of these guitars a few years ago, but due to a change in my living situation I have barely even looked at it. Just lately I have started playing again and today this one came out into the light. My version has two humbuckers and no scratch plate. It is metallic purple and has the original tremolo arm. There is one little ding in the finish. I think I kinda like it.

Just put a 1999 stagemaster on layaway at my local pawn shop. Got it for $230. It's black. Super excited for this one. Great playing man. Keep it up.

I spent 2 years looking for a new neck for my 2000 Stagemaster And I now have it completely rebuilt with a new Floyd Rose Pro. Mine is an HH 24 Fret bolt on Burgundy body / Neck head stock is Black but from the same year and model. I love it!

I've got a white HH v1 from '99 with a couple of fat pole pups in it. One of the thinnest necks and lowest action I've ever played. Love it.

I have a neck through hsh stagemaster in pewter metallic. Unfortunately a strap button can loose and it fell perfectly on the tremolo arm. Broke one of the posts. This was about 15 years ago since the break. It is now in the shop getting a proper setup and repair buy our local Floyd guitar expert. It played amazing before can’t wait to get it back

Hi 😊 Ben ,💗 love your guitar , I have its sister model stagemaster. I think you are amazing and shining light for the rest of us guitarist. You can put some PFE tape on the threads of the whammy bar to keep it stable or you can buy an alternative bushing for the plate hole connection on the FL Rose, that will also keep it stable. Mine is purple HSS late 90s headstock not painted though.,love it 169$ sam ash soft case. pointy bottom horn,need to find special pickguard or make one. Electrical Tape speed stripes crazy heavy for a squire,think it is pressure board.

I just searched for Squier Stagemaster for a laugh on youtube and you came up! First time I saw a video with you in it was like you doing covers in the street with this same guitar! And here you are reviewing a guitar I love. I have the Stagemaster like your 22frets, and pickguard, stays in tune, floyd is great on there. I also have two of the Deluxe versions with thru necks, 24frets, which would be my main guitars live etc. Then I have a shocking pink Showmaster, also 24frets, 20th Anniversary Edition which is also excellent and not like the shitty Showmasters that you can get, this one is classy. I've two more Showmasters but they are getting sold off. I've put a Dimarzio super distortion in the bridge in most of them bar one which has a Dimarzio Megadrive in there. Some have Dimarzio Super Distortion 2 in the necks and some have Dimarzio Evolution in the neck. Great axes and if you spend a bit more in like steel saddles (the one you have should have steel saddles) and pickups you get an even better axe!! Oh and large brass sustain blocks of course. Great video man keep up the excellent work!

I have the same except mine is HH not HSH headstock does not match the body. 1999 model also has contour heel.

Stagemaster was my first.guitar I ever bought at 13 with my Paper route money. I cant seem to find online the model I owned which has a white pick gaurd (HSS) Rosewood fretboard with maple unpainted headstock. Any idea as to this model of stagemaster?
