Exactly what I usually come away thinking. Glad this dude showed his chops on singles. Sounded killer. I always think singles sound more expressive. Maybe my bias as I do like that quack and twang mixed with overdrive.

Some of it depends I guess how good you are. Some of these ridiculous players can pick up crap guitars and execute. For me and small hands and my ability I can pull off a lot tough playing but the minute the neck isnt right or the action gets a just a little high I sound pretty sloppy at high speed playing alternate picking.

Not impossible. I think its not the playablity but the tone preference. you must admit that Metal on a PRS Mark Tremonti sounds whole lotta better than strats as strats are not generally thick djent sounding which metal music generally requires. But why buy strat if one wants to play metal. I bought a fender because I don't play metal.

For me the 60 cycle hum when running gain and boost pedals just drives me insane. I can't stand it.

Thanks man! The Player Stratocaster model is a very good guitar, I think the more expensive Fender ones are better!! In this video I use a YJM as boost and a noise suppressor, the drive and reverb come from the amp and the delay I put in the mix

It's honestly really good with some mods as an yngwie strat. I have one and had the neck scalloped out on a brass nut and swapped the pickups. 1000 bucks cheaper and it doesn't have the weird string spacing issue on the high e that causes slippage on the official YJM strat

I never had any problems with the tuning on this guitar, it has locking heads, I think it is good to invest in this as the main option ... after some time with this guitar, I changed the stock nut for brass, but I believe that this does not influence much, unless the nut of your friend’s guitar is badly damaged, it certainly ruins the tuning! one thing I always do is apply a lubricant, mix petroleum jelly with powdered graphite, help for squeals... another thing is to know the limitations of the guitar, you can't be the Kerry King with a Vintage Fender, you will end up out of tune. ..I hope it helps in something
