Hey Doug, i have an idea for upcoming videos.. with every firmware update including the recent, you could cut together a 'all amps' and 'all pedals ' video super cut, there's recently no such overview video in this level of detail that you deliver on KZfaq and you could generate a lot of clicks just by cutting the 'all new effects' and 'all new amps' videos into the original from the release.. the you'd just have to update after each update

KZfaq doesn't like it if you re-use whole videos, but I could make an "All Amps v 2" and an "All Effects v 2" after the next major update 👍

Thanks so much for doing these videos on the TMP, it's very helpful. I did the latest firmware update weeks ago, but still hadn't checked out the new FX yet.

Everybody chases an elusive tone in their head. My first pedal in about 1974 was a used Big Muff. I probably traded it away. Mistake. I've tried many since. That was the best one. The one in the TMP seems pretty authentic.

Fender is certainly hitting the market full force. From high end to even budget friendly, I just reviewed their squier debut... wish there was a beginner guitar back when I started with that quality.

Great video! Thank you! I have two tone master amps, a twin and priceton, love them. Hope Fender can make a cheaper version of this floor unit!

I've noticed that from your channel that you are not afraid to answer questions from guitarists who aren't really that knowledgeable about gear. I am am one of those people, even though I am a programmer and has a specific knowledge of programming computers and/or games it's very narrow. So, I have no real knowledge of guitar technology, I play but that's about it. Now, if I where to make a jump and buy a Fender Tone Master Pro, what else would I need to buy to get it working with Pro Tools. Again I don't have much knowledge of Pro Tools either but I own it, for better or worse. I have an Eleven Rack, but, using that with Pro Tools was a doddle when I got it, it acts as an interface and made everything so easy when I got it, many moons ago. Now not so much and the Eleven Rack is heavily dated (except some sounds are very good), I was using it with Bias FX2. So, I have my guitar, studio monitors (attached to the Eleven Rack), an FR speaker, what else would I need to buy to getting it to work with a TMP, and how would I go about connecting it up, to the computer, so that it will work and "record" with pro-tools or Reaper (something which I have never used but is cheap)? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

The TMP has drivers that turn it into an audio interface on Win11 and MacOS. If you have Win10, it won't work, nor will the control app. Although you could get by with the Android/iOS versions to use the app, you'll need a computer to upgrade firmware. I came from BiasFx2 with the Riff as my interface into Bandlab and the TMP works effortlessly as well. The TMP comes with a 10 ft USB-C cable to connect to your laptop and has a port in the back of the unit. Bandlab (Pro Tools, too) recognize the TMP as an audio interface just fine. Doug can answer about connections, but the TMP could surely replace the Eleven rack and connect easily to your studio monitors via XLR outs on the back. Check out the user manual on the bottom of this page to see all the input/outputs: www.fender.com/en-US/tone-master-pro.html

If you have a fairly recent computer with a USB-C port, you'll have the gear that you need. I'm not familiar with Pro Tools, but I would imagine your computer would recognize the TMP as an audio interface. You could connect the speakers directly to the TMP and put that Eleven Rack out to pasture 😉

@@kevinstahl8834 At the moment I am using Win 10. So I will need that looked at to get it upgraded to Win11. I had a program on my computer for whatever reason telling me I could not upgrade it to win 11, but, I not so convinced.

Try "low pass" with the "up" setting for the Jerry Mutron! Middle pickup.

Hi Doug ! I wonder whether you can show us how to create a nice organ or Hammond sound. I would like to simulate it with my guitar. Thx. Thorsten
@DougBsDigitalDen17 күн бұрын
Thorsten - there aren't any modeled organs in the TMP, so it's basically impossible right now. Sorry!
