Fendt 943 Vario MT Crawler Working in England - Part 1

5 жыл бұрынWe've been lucky enough to spend a few days with the new Fendt 943 Vario MT Crawler, thanks to our friends at Agco and Wilfred Scruton Ltd.
Our first impression of this machine is that it is a big improvement on the Challenger. It runs much smoother and quieter than our previous Challenger 775E.
In this video we are cultivating the land with our Simba 6.6m Cultipress, just in front of our Case Quadtrac and drill.
Warter Priory is a world class farming operation set in the heart of East Yorkshire amidst 12,000 acres. At Warter, we pride ourselves on our reputation for quality and efficient farming. The main crops we focus on growing are wheat, barley and oilseed rape. We also grow peas in partnership with Birds Eye and some of our land is used for growing potatoes.

Great video! A lot of hp for a very dinky little press and tines tho ? What's your fuel bill like? Stick a 12m lemken press on there, your cover more ground, and save time and money?

@Otium Borealis Great new toy! I've heard they do out perform the Cats. The John Deere version are very popular down here in Bedfordshire. The fendts tend to be a bit expensive, I guess it depends on how big your wallet is?

Definitely! As this was only a quick demo, we didn't have much chance to do anything else with it... but it could definitely handle more!

Not really 900mt series has a fendt cabin with a fendt setup in it. Also the suspension is from fendt. The rest is the same

I thought farming was on its knees in the UK. Can't be that bad if you got a case and a fendt tracked machine!

@@WarterPrioryEstate Ha! I am not knocking it. Farmers deserve to have decent kit for all the hard work and hours they put in and should be paid fairly for all the great stuff they produce. Keep up the good work!

At least not in the UK market... I'm not sure if they are still producing them for other markets but I don't believe they are.

I think AGCO is marketing challengers as fendts in Europe now, hence the 1100mt, and is Fendt-challenger mashup
