In this one, I'm looking at a new Airbrush Compressor, the Fengda FD-186 to replace the 30+ year old on I was loaned/given by my Dad to use.
Hopefully it will improve my airbrushing techniques.

Finally!!! Someone who actually explains how to use the compressor!!

The air release valve on the side of the tank is there to act as a relief valve if the pressure in the tank goes above 4 bar. The drain plug used to empty the tank is on the bottom of the tank and should be removed once the pressure has been lowered, in order to drain the tank of any moisture that has built up in it.

Ah you legend. Your description of how to adjust the working pressure was exactly what I needed. I’ve owned this thing for more than a year and couldn’t work it out. Thank you!

Hi I just got this compressor and I'm not going to be useing it all the time . Do I leave the air in or do I have to realise it and how do I do that please..sorry I'm a complete novice. And are the red numbers bar or psi lol or is it the black numbers on the gauge..I was brush only till today when this came through the post the instructions aint that good either..thanks

I wouldn’t leave any air in it. To release the air I pull the l little ring attached the the red pressure value. I makes some noise and startled me. But I pull that until all the air is release. If my air brush is still connected I use that to release any remained and the I press the little button on the water trap.
