It seems to be very versatile light, great for many different applications, even power outages make this light really worth having.

You make a good point. You can dial in a precise amount of lighting for a variety of use cases, outdoors or indoors. Thanks.

Thanks for the video. It looks like an interesting toy, very useful and with an affordable price. Sorry that the two internal batteries are not replaceable ... also missing the possibility of using traditional 21700 batteries if the ones supplied end their operational life (or in case of emergency) I've seen some videos with the CL28R set to 2700K and it's beautiful.

I seen they got a cl27r that takes a rechargeable battery and it looks similar to this but run times are longer and the adjustments are insane with the color temp and all that good stuff

Excellent product! Thank you for this review! I would suggest you to look into Ulanzi MT-49 Carbon Fiber Portable Camera Tripod, which is a very versatile high quality and light tripod/light stand. With a maximum height of 6.4' and a weight of 1.74 lb. They are having high quality products at a good price.

1.74 lb sounds pretty good. I will check it out. Thx.

Love that headlamp just needs a red led on it.

Well, there is always V3. It has been a beast of a headlamp and I've had it through all weather conditions. Single digit temps to high 90's in the summer. 2 1/2 hours of non-stop rain exposure. And, it's still going strong. Thanks!!

What model of the headlamp are you using in this video? Is it your favorite one?

Fenix HP30R V2. This has been my #1 Search and Rescue headlamp since its release. Of course, I'll replace it if anything is released that works better for me, but so far it's still in the top spot :). Several reviews of it on the channel. Thank you.

@@sirism98 I'm glad it's working for you. That's why I do the reviews. I spent so much time trying to figure out how gear actually worked in the field for my SAR kit - I figured others may benefit from seeing field tests. Enjoy and thanks again.

What tripod is that? Is it something that you always carry for S&R, or is it used more for doing videos like this?

The large tripod shown in the summary is a Cayer and is used only for filming. The smaller field tripod is something that I bought on Amazon a couple years ago. I don't remember the brand. I use it regularly in SAR ops. I can also mount a BeastGrip Pro and use it for filming with my iPhone 14 Pro MAX. It's great when I need to move the camera and keep it steady (by balancing the lower part of the tripod against my body). It is very easy to transport, which is important when I'm on my feet most of the day :) I used this setup for the Fenix video I shot at SHOT Show 2023. Thanks for your question.

Great video, thank you man! I have a question for you, if you got time. How well would the magnetic base hold up on a construction site? Would a soft bump from a ladder knock it off a metal stud?
@L5-SAR
@L5-SAR Жыл бұрын
That's a good question. The best hold will be on a smooth, flat surface. I did try rocking my truck a bit after filming that segment. In retrospect, I should have kicked the bumper. When I film part two of the review, I'll add. that specific test. Thanks.
