In one day in NYC, three young professionals died after buying and ingesting drugs laced with fentanyl from drug dealer Billy Ortega.

"my daughter did not die of an overdose" => yes she did... it's hard for her to grasp that her daughter was an addict. she was so perfect, a lawyer mind you... the expectations put on these kids, and the loneliness and shallowness of this society.... turned the seemingly perfect into addicts... yes at 26 she was till an adolescent really. I am so sorry for her loss... Glad she is fighting for more charges...

Julia Ghahramani's father has been quoted as saying it was "just a shot of coke and she would never have used fentanyl". So it's fine to use cocaine for recreational use?? And this was not a one time use---she had used this "delivery service" before. She disgraced herself, her family, and her memory.

Big part of the problem is denial. If your loved uses drugs and unlivens themself yes, they overdosed.

People don't realize that so many overdoses are caused by a bad batch. This wouldn't happen if drugs were legal and inspected. The drug war killed these people.

Its sad but she indeed did die from a overdose. Maybe not her drug of choice but nevertheless overdosed on drugs

Why aren't we talking about what to do about lawyers, bankers, social workers becoming addicts in the first place? This might help avert similar tragedies.

I had an Ex girlfriend who used to smoke weed and then said she wasn't getting high enough and then started messing around with this drug and then she overdose on my birthday 🎂 last year and landed in the hospital the next day she died. Sad 😔🙏🙌
