In today’s video, I will be reviewing the New Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Powder Foundation. It claims to be light-full coverage. Sweat proof and long wearing. I usually use the Mac Studio Fix Powder Foundation to set my liquid foundation. It helps give extra coverage and wear. So I decided to do Fenty Beauty Powder Foundation VS. Mac Studio Fix Powder Foundation to see which ones better. I hope you found this review helpful. If you are new to my channel what’s up!? This is a brilliant review, and u are right the finished result is amazing, you can't tell it's just powder foundation. And i think once the warm up they really do give that soft focus effect. I've only used the Too Faced powder foundation and that did the same and I really like that look.

MAC can be sheered out so you get a bang for your buck and girl--out of all my powders, it’s the only product that I’ve dropped by accident multiple times and it never cracked! I had a Burberry powder that shattered with a light drop lol

Your bare skin is gorgeous! You don’t even need any type of coverage in my opinion. But it’s nice to play with makeup :). Thanks for this video !

Great review, very thorough. Do you think the oiliness may be from the Bobbi brown primer? Or do you normally use that under your liquid foundations?

Thank you! 😊 I do use the Bobbi Brown primer under all my foundations but you could use a mattifying primer but most of the time mattifying primers are very drying and tacky and if not applied properly it will be a horrible mess lol. Especially since powder foundations are very drying you want to make sure your face is well prepped for it.

Definitely the bobbi brown primer caused u to be extremely oily! The moment it made my face oily, I didn't not purchased it anymore.

When you’re wearing powder foundation you do all your liquids (IE concealer) first and then do the powder

Does the Mac have more coverage? I already have the Fenty, and Like It a lot but I was looking for something with more coverage, also the elf One seems nice

Mac Studio fix powder is my ride or die tried and true and nothing has ever come close to the match and coverage. I tried so many other powder foundations and I always come back to studio fix.

Sure does last and the range puts Fenty to shame. I mix NC 41 and NC43.5 and it has me covered year round all seasons.

Hello which shade are you wearing? I am an NC 20-25 in MAC foundation and want to get a match on this one before buying it. From some other videos i can tell the shades run a little orangy? 😅 but it seems a really good match on your skin. Thank you in advance

I'm nc 15 in the mac powder foundation and got the 105 in fenty. Check what under tones your shades have, that will help

Maybe use a mattifying primer so it’ll help the longevity and it’s prevent oilyness

Yes I did think about that, but most of the time mattifying primers are very drying and with powder foundation it can cake up and I didn't want to risk it lol
