I don’t know if this was intentional, but I really appreciate the fact that they got someone to do this video who genuinely understands ASMR and it’s purpose. Amandla never loudly laughed or questioned what she was doing or ASMR in general and has previously mentioned how she likes ASMR herself, which just really shows that she was perfect for this video. You can really see that she was genuinely doing ASMR and trying out things that others who didn’t know ASMR as much wouldn’t pick up on. As someone who listens to ASMR regularly and admittedly didn’t know who Amandla was before this video, she has given me the best and most respectful first impression.
