So... can you confirm whether or not he will be in Season 6 (final season) of Vikings (and not just the first episode). I hope so, b/c if not I (and several of fans of the show) will be pissed. I don't understand how the season would not continue with him seeing the actual historical figure, King Alfred the Great lived well until around age 50. And even if he's not in season 6, he should certainly be in a spin-off with Rolo (if it happens). King Aldred is an incredibly important figure and it would be maddening if Vikings creator Michael Hirst fucks up completely and erases his historical impact from Vikings. Also, Ferdia is doing a magnificent job as Alfred and fans agreed that Hirst should not be a dick and just completely undermine his value to the show (as he did with Rolo). Finally, Ferdia is just lovely. Facts.
