@SophiaLaiho This guitar is an "old timer" from 1800 (original one, not a copy...) the brand is "Remy, Limoges" (iron mark inside of the instrument), restaured by luthier Erik-Pierre Hofmann. ;-) V.

Lovely version of this piece. I have started playing my classical guitar again after many years of having it put away whist I world full time. I've been off for a bit and have been enjoying my guitar again, which I now have some time for. I've been learning this song....love it! You have a beautiful guitar. My playing is no so great but I have pleasure to play those little easy pieces of the romantic era. I think this one is much better than the austrian one, this is qhy I record again the piece I've done with the other (and I remocve the older videos) The other guitars, baroque and renaissance are modern copies, this one is original... Regards Val

Sir. This is very beautiful. I picked up a guitar some time ago and tried playing, and it's been on and off. I've recently made the effort as of 2 months ago But I'm not wanting to learn other songs, more along the lines of making my own, I'm getting my finger movement back in check and learning to read notes, Thank you for taking the time to learn this song and present it. @mauson1963 Bonjour. Sur cet enregistrement, j'avais mis des basses Savarez faible tension (carte blanche) et aigües en Nylgut. La tension environ de 5 kg. Mais j'ai changé récemment et j'ai mis des cordes en boyau Kurschner avec des basses filées cuivre Kurschner aussi, même tension de 5 kg. Meilleurs voeux, cher Andreas !

That is an unusual technique your using isn't it? I guess it may have been used during the era when it was written. Having the pinky planted on the guitar for stability is a modern classical "no no". I've seen pictures, of Sor I think, playing with that technique. And the thumb going into the palm like that, I've always been told not to do. I don't know what kind of technique your using, but it sounds really good and seems very authentic. Thanks for posting!

Just learning this myself. Per-Olov I'm now keen to know at what study stage you introduce this piece to students. I've been playing, self taught for 21/2 years & found this in Delcamp's level 3 materials.
