Hello. Thank you for providing this video. So many details were told and explained. Just a great piece of history stored on video. What an inspiring and humble engineer. Many thanks to Ferenc Pavlics. I have the highest respect for all technicians who worked on the Apollo programm and of course other space programs. And I feel so small, knowing that such a big project will never happen again. A manned mars landing will just not happen within the next 50 years, because today the enthusiasm and skills are lost. I once was partially involved in the design of a wheel for an european mars rover, stupidly some engineers were ignoring the lessons learned 50 years ago, and they failded during testing. Greetings from Switzerland.

If another episode of “From the Earth to the Moon” is ever made, it should feature the development of the LRV just like the development of the LM in “Gumdrop and Spider”.

Its so wonderful that this side of the history is documented. When he spoke about how the Mars Lander wheel failed due to the neglect of learning from the LRV, I as a Project Manager had tears in my eyes because of the admiration of these Apollo-program engineers. They truly were "the greatest Generation" and there is no doubt about that.Just take a look at all those books this man has and just think about the fact that 46% of all graduate students in the US never pick up a book after graduation.Just let that sink in and you know that we can not land a man on the moon again in such a perfect manner like these slide ruler engineers had mastered so beautifully.I hold the Apollo men in the highest regard.Best whishes from Germany.

50 years on from Apollo 15 is an excellent time to remember and honor Ferenc Pavilics and the brilliant lunar rover!

Is there any chance of getting detailed photos/measurements of the model for GI Joe fans to build their own model Rovers?
