fair enough , each got their different liking to football.

The mainstream football is really team oriented whilst this is purely skill. In the middle we got Futsal which is a cross between skill and teamwork all great disciplines.

ottomanpapyrus futsal is cool and all... but the giant stadiums, the pitch, the size of the field, the championships like UEFA and the World cup.. its just amazing

Not sure about a high horse - I guess this just looks boring to some people. It's like taking a few elements of football and focusing only on them. While, of course, a lot of skill is needed - this really is intereting for about 2-3 minutes top. Don't kid yourself - 99% of the professional players are not good because they have played Panna matches. Street football doesn't look like this either most of the time. Your France/Brazil logic is so broken I can't even begin to explain it. That all said - I have nothing against these panna guys - as long as it is fun for them. I just find it incredibly boring. Super weird pacing of the game with basically one guy dancing around the ball most of the time. Yes, the dancing involves skill but meeeeeeh....there is a reason football is so famous and it is because of this element. Maybe if they change the rules somehow....I don't know.

@@nopenopenein8243 and exactly why England will never win an international competition. If you have direct experience I would probably lend credence to your reasoning/analysis. But I have - my son has accounted for 33 of his teams 75 goals in 19 matches. And that's a year into this thing. It's not only the actual panna matches that you need to look at but what goes in the background like the training etc. And for you to say that street football isn't anything like this is the most laughable part of your argument. Panna players play street football most of the time to showcase their skills. A lot of people give up playing a game on the xbox or ps4 because they can't seem to progress and then they say its rubbish. I think the same logic applies to people who has no chance of developing their skills in a sport - so if you dont like the fact that people have worked hard to develop these skills and are applying it in the football pitch and you can't do it, then just dont match videos like this. Don't want to offend you but it sounds like you are pretty new to football and don't have much personal experience with the game....other than your son's games...who is probably a little kid, because this is the only level of football where focusing on Panna drills translate good into real games. As for experience - I've played streetfootball since I was a little kid and now, at 32, I still play futsal or 6v6 football twice a week. I've played with local teams and have competed enough in all kinds of street tournaments. Most streetfootball is nothing like Panna games. Given fotball's amazing and long history, Panna games format is fairly new and if you think that it has anything to do with Brazil or France's football culture, you are out of your mind. You have a completely wrong idea what streetfootball is, how it is related to Panna and what is the connection with the level of football. In real football nobody cares about nutmegs and there is a good reason people don't dance around the ball. These Panna dudes are talented but there is a good reason 99% of them would just stay Panna players - biggest reason being that they have only masted a really SMALL part of the game. I never said that I don't like the fact that they have worked hard - stop being so butt-hurt about a sport you have never touched and calm down.

And by the sound of it, you are one of the millions who subscribe to the notion that individual skills are less important than the "team spirit". And I think you are the one missing the point about panna - it's not about panna but the training and hard work behind it. Which allows the player to develop high level foot skills and ball control. So you look at Maradona, Neymar, Mbappe, Ronaldinho etc which probably never played Panna but probably a lot of street football and they probably developed their skills doing that. Which translated to them being who they are in real football. Are you trying to tell me that the skills these guys brought into the game didn't make who they are? You might have played a lot of street football but you are playing the "English street football" - which is basically one touch and then pass lol. My kid has competed in various international competitions and has played street football in different countries - I've got videos where almost every single ball possession is full of skillful moves, and where players are allowed to express their skill level. Despite your so called experience, you would look like a beginner with these guys. Football, like basketball, is a sport where you need a high level of individual skill to make team play effective. And you shouldn't get hurt if I point out that the reason you downplay panna is because you would not be able to do what they are doing - there is a 10 year old girl in my son's skills academy who would most probably make you dizzy in street football. At least when I played basketball I incorporated a lot of individual skills to make my team game really good - a concept that you do not seem to grasp. And you just stick to your so called one touch football with a lot of shouting and nothing else. Lol

haziq rahim yeah but this kind of rules favor a slow paced not funny to watch game style, if I were who makes the rules, I’d say that a nutmeg is worth one or two goals and I’d also add the shot clock

I don't understand why you are mixing football with 1v1 panna. In football you have a whole field so you could easily past an opponent easier by just running and in panna 1v1 the playing field is small and it depends on close control and it is hard to beats past someone in that small space because the opponent can take one step and is already in front of the ball
