I'm sure there's a lot of hothead boxers who would do the same IF they corners would allow it. That was the problem with Fernando, he had a bunch of fools in his corner that let him make terrible decisions that led to him destroying his career. And it all had to do with chasing the big payday, it was all greed. He wanted to be champ so fast, which he accomplished but his championship run was so brief.

Brings back my early 2000s memories I was in college, me and my father would watch boxing on tv every Sunday morning (Philippines time). I still remember his sad reaction when Vargas lost to Dela Hoya. Not sure why we both cheered for Vargas though lol
