Fernando was my fav boxer growing up . He’s an incredible father he must be very proud of his boys . Emiliano is gonna be a superstar though . He will not rush him though like his management did with his career

I've always liked Fernando Vargas especially the show he and his family had WELCOME TO LAS VARGAS

From my experience in all the Hispanic families including mine, everyone is out for themselves and they only act like family when they need something from you. I think a successful career for the son’s would put their relationship with their father to the test and don’t let him be more successful or it will really get difficult but I could be speaking from my bad experiences and I don’t know everyone to say it’s how everyone is.

I almost did the same shit. I use to walk 12 blocks home in Jr high after school 🏫. In the dangerous parts of south central la. I use to walk with a friend and one day a gangbanger went ahead and pocket checked us. He was about five years older than us and he was right in his project block man. We could not do shit

It’s different when you have a dad that was a world champion and has what it takes to take you to the next level. That’s why Floyd told them that

Really look at Roberto Duran tho… Dude was good in the ring but horrible at life. Being “good” is more than being able to get to the top, it’s also being able to stay at the top and leave a great legacy. Having your daddy with you as a mentor/leader is priceless and something this modern generation needs more of.

These kids have to also remember how lucky they are and that there is also other kids that are hungry and that don’t have that support so if they ever get the chance to fight y’all they’re gonna be tryna rip your head off if they even get the chance to make it that far because they don’t have that support so they could fall victim to the hood and not even make it

I don't want my son Emilio to be a pro boxer. That's my sacrifice for not having my things straightened out before bringing his sister and him to this world. I want my kids to be who they want to be. My daughter likes to draw, and if my son want to be a pro wrestler, or a car mechanic or a Doctor, etc. I would support that.

Good because if little Emilio entered the sport and had to fight Shotgun Scotty, i would leave him worse than Prichard Colon and you would have a vegetable as a son.

That's true, it's still suffering compared to people who don't have to walk even a mile. That's like saying I got shot in the leg not the head but that's not suffering since getting shot in the head is worst. Your analogy doesn't make sense.
