Two Baldwin steam locomotives pull a FarRail charter train on the 750mm narrow gauge line “La Trochita” from Esquel to Nahuel Pan.
Zwei Dampfloks von Baldwin ziehen einen FarRail-Sonderzug auf der 750-mm-Schmalspurbahn „La Trochita“ von Esquel nach Nahuel Pan. Das Video ergänzt den Bericht zu der Bahn in der Zeitschrift Fernexpress Heft 1/2015.

Chicos no soy Argentino pero no saben la emoción que me causa ver éste hermoso trencito viejo y con su maquinaria y carros originales, sus vagones de madera , he visto algunos reportajes y sé que se mantiene con mucho sacrificio y amor de parte de los mecánicos y el personal que trabaja en toda la red, amo éstas máquinas a pesar de no tener nada que ver con ellas , será pórque mi abuelo fué ferroviario en una maestanza Chilena y murió trabajando ahí en un lamentable accidente, Dios los bendiga a todos junto a sus trencitos ,gracias.

En el mes de noviembre 2018 se puso en marcha otro trencito igual que va desde ing. Jacobacci hasta ojo de agua en la prov. de Río Negro (Argentina) vean los videos..... Además en Tierra del Fuego funciona un tren, también, similar al de Esquel, son hermosos....Ojalá haya más trenes así.... Saludos!

Great video! I can't believe those passenger cars weren't packed for such a fantastic run. I truly hope to make it to Argentina one day, it has always been a dream of mine since I was young. I would go just to ride this train :) Your country is very beautiful

Tenés la emperatriz una de las pocas locomotoras grandes que a tenido Argentina y hace viajes , no tan seguido se la encuentra en Rosario Santa fe y muy rara vez en Santa Fe (Santa Fe)

Spectacular. Okay, so the engines looked pretty much identical, both were well maintained and in good condition. At least the lead loco was oil fired and I assume the black tank car was an auxiliary water tender? But genuine question; in almost every shot, there was live steam venting from a vertical pipe about midway back on the tender of the pilot locomotive, but not on the train engine. What was that all about? The oil firing system?

+MrDastram - This was a special train for photographers. The passengers stand on the hillside to take pictures as the train passes by, and travel on the cars between the photo stops.
