Why they have the cars locked in 3 gear. Not all the cars have the same gear ratio, nor the same power band. They should let the driver chose the right gear for the speed they are going to start the race. Great video.

@@famaccount479 the 765 hasn't OFFICIALLY been ran yet. Even though they've said it's not as fast as the 720 it hasn't been proven. Just like the 720 has constantly proven it's faster than on paper. So yeah, I need to see the new turbo S against the likes of these cars.

@@famaccount479 clearly you're missing the point here 🤦🏽‍♂️. I KNOW what the NUMBERS are on all the cars. However runs have proven to be different for decades if you're even that old to know that. I have Google too, I too know how to research but the actual runs aren't out yet at least I haven't found them and I search pretty much daily for all types of runs because it's my passion. Thanks though for trying.

It was painfully obvious the 720s was in the wrong gear for the rolling race. It needed to be in 2nd gear from that starting speed. That's the problem with putting all the cars in the same gear at a chosen speed. What needs to be done is the driver of the car should be able to decide the best gear for that starting speed (based on that car's power band). Every car's transmission and gear ratios are different and 3rd gear at 50 mph will put many cars completely out of their power band and cause a lot of turbo lag. While a car with a larger engine that NA, won't have that issue. Anyways, you really do need to put each car in the best gear for that starting speed. Had the cars started the race in 2nd gear, the 720s would have done much better in the roll race.
