I could see the Bentley as a 20yo still perfectly capable car with 100k miles on. Can you see the Portofino? Have you actually seen a 20yo Modena with 80k miles on? Utter POS…

Modificata just means modified, not necessarily made sportier or harder edged. It's not a dragster. Look at the difference between the 550 and the 575M Maranellos for another example of this.

Excellent review, James. I would have liked it even better had there also been a story other than the car (say you wanted to reach a certain destination, to explore a certain place, food, or cultural thing). Make a story out of it. I understand the manufacturers may not always accommodate that, but still... Keep up the good work!

The enthusiasm of the reporter shows how much fun this Ferrari is. But is it better than a Mclaren, for a similar price range ? Waiting for a comparison !

I am from India.Here people buy 812 superfast,488, california etc.I think Portofino M is perfect for every road conditions.

It’s the cheapest Spider model Ferrari makes, hence why it’s entry level.
