Great video. Not a ferreter myself, but I thoroughly enjoyed that. Took me back to the fields of my old home. Awesome music, and a fabulous way of enjoying the UK countryside. Thank you Simon.

I applaud you and your efforts! Your video demonstrates many truths we have lost from not so distant times past. I don't know if ferreting is practiced in the U.S. but if it is, I would be happy to take up learning and participation.

I have loved animals since my childhood. I still do not accept hunting as entertainment. But your videos attract attention, you respect the nature. You have preserved the oldest profession, which we have never heard of in Russia. Thanks to the operator, your mini-films are very beautiful, ferrets, dogs and nature. Do not let other people touch and work with your animals, they do not treat them as neat as you.

It is all too easy for people to forget that rabbit management is also a kindness to the rabbit... When overpopulation leads to disease and dysfunction, mere existence becomes a far more grim prospect.. given the option of a brief chase followed by swift, humane dispatchment as opposed to a long, protracted dying wracked with sickness and malaise, I know which of the two I’d choose..

What a great story, I have been ferreting for many years now myself. It’s a shame the youth these days don’t have the drive to get out and enjoy the outdoors like I have, it’s a real shame!!!!

Thank you for making this video. I just come across your ferreting videos and thoroughly enjoy watching them but had many questions as to the necessity of killing so many rabbits. You have just answered all my questions and I find this to be the most Humane method to dispatch an over populated animal. Please keep making more videos.

I want to become a ferreter but I live in the U.S and I've never really heard of it locally and there aren't really videos on KZfaq for me to learn the basics like is it just sticking a ferret in a hole covering escape or must the ferrets learn

Simon congrats on Middlesbrough's win on the pens today, I have been watching videos about ferrets for nearly two years now, and yearn to get some and get in about ferreting, Your videos have nailed exactly what im looking to do with my adult life, I would love to be able to have a chat with you, and hope that maybe there's a way I can reach you, hopefully you see this comment and would be kind enough to get in touch, I imagine you lead a hectic and busy life, Ferrets, Familly and Farmy outdoors stuff. it won't stun me if there isn't a reply. But id kick myself if I didn't try. Let me know, maybe we can communicate.

This is so sad I will never kill rabbits I do not care if they damage my things because us humans took there land in the first place
@chadgreene26076 жыл бұрын
The Faith Show that’s true but it also helps the environment because rabbits breed amazingly quick and the population could get so overcrowded that rabbits will die from starvation
