This Ferrex trimmer is efficient and performs in all weather conditions. At a cost of about £20 from Aldi, this is a cool addition to the garden tools. At this cost it's arguably the best cordless lawn trimmer and value for money lawn trimmer.

It's in our Aldi ad this week, the ad did not say what all comes with it for $39.99 (US) I've looked high and low for an alternative to those string trimmer that are such a pain. I will head to Aldi this afternoon. I will check back with you !

I got that trimmer, no joke, for $12.49, at Aldis grocery. You will never find a cordless trimmer that cheap, even if is stolen. The original Aldi price was $24.99, even that price is dirt cheap

Would this trimmer cut grass 50 cm high?

Although it's nylon blades, they can cut grass at that level as they're very sharp when rotating.

How did you extend the handle?

unfortunately there doesn’t seem to be an extension but if you use the handle it gives you a little more room to maneuver a cut.
