Ferry to Cozumel with car - Ultracarga & Transcaribe

We crossed by car from Playa del Carmen to Cozumel and back. We tried Ultracarga one the way and Transcaribe on the way back.
Although you can get to line up for a place on the ferry, it is recommended to make a reservation in advance, as places are limited and many people are left without crossing. We noticed that not even lining up 3 hours before guarantees a place on the ferry, but if you book and arrive an hour before, the crossing is almost guaranteed, as only bad weather can cancel it.

Hola, solo sin carro. Ir y volver en auto el mismo día no es recomendable, no alcanzas a disfrutar de Cozumel cuando ya tienes que ir a formarte para el regreso

Hola tu video me ha servido mucho, solo tengo unas dudas porque tengo que llegar con un tiempo determinado a un lugar. ¿ cuanto tiempo hiciste en total desde la hora que saliste hasta que llegaste a COZUMEL? , ¿fueron puntuales con la salida ? ¿ cuanto tiempo te tardaste en bajar del ferry? Te agradecería mucho la información, gracias 🙏

Hola, que bueno que te ha servido. La salida sí es muy puntual, por eso piden que llegues temprano, pues son muchísimos autos y camiones a a comodar. El trayecto fue de aproximadamente hora y media y sí tardas en salir y tardas más si estás hasta el fondo, yo estimo que tardas unos 30 minutos máximo si estás de los más al fondo. Pero si eres de los de los primeros en salir, en 10 mins estás fuera. Mi recomendación es que NO dependas del ferry para llegar a tiempo a algún evento, pues pueden pasar muchas cosas que retrasen tu llegada. En otras palabras, el día del cruce no debes tener ningún compromiso pues lo puedes perder.

Amigo, soy de Brasil. ¿Cuánto tiempo usted recomienda llegar antes de la hora de salida del ferry a Punto Venado (Calinca) con el billete comprado online?

1 hora con 30 minutos antes. Con eso garantizas tu abordaje.
