🎒This time, I took a ferry trip from Shin Moji to Yokosuka on the Tokyo Kyushu Ferry's Suisen.
The weather was bad that day, the sea was rough and the ferry was quite bumpy and difficult.
The ferry also has a slightly upmarket restaurant, the Grill, which requires reservations, so I had lunch at the Grill for the first time.

(Note: The ferry Suisen, on which we boarded this time, is currently operated by New Nihonkai Ferry on the Sea of Japan route. Please note that the ferries Soreiyu and Hamayu, currently operated by Tokyo Kyushu Ferry, do not have a 'grill'.

Greetings from UK. Nice videos. Port = left. Starboard= right. Upper classes sailed port out starboard home = someone is posh.. Always following the sun.

Thank you for your comment. I meant that the left side of the screen would be the starboard side since we are walking from bow to stern. Sorry for the confusion.

One aboard a BC Ferry. Queen of Prince Rupert, they showed film as well (on small TVs ) and would get a selection of VHS tapes. They once had the Poseidon Adventure and announced it to nervous chuckles on board. Excellent video…great amenities. Good times…

Sadly some incompetent crew on the Bc Ferries “Queen of the North” Managed to sink the ship in calm water by missing a course change and sink the car ferry in 1 hr. Full speed into an island. Rest of the crew was very good however and only 2 people out of 102 on board were never found. Likely sleeping in their car. Happened in 2005 or 2006. Should have never have happened

I know it's unpleasant for some, but that sort of rough sea is, to me, perfect. So beautiful and feel like an adventure. Love your origami at the end of each video. 😊

I would go to Lawson for several types of food and drink, and get an ekiben to eat on the ferry.

自分20代の頃に東京～徳島～小倉の東九オーシャンフェリーに往復乗ったことが有りましたが,それとは別にフェリーが就航したのですか⁉️又は名前が変わっての就航ですか⁉️

I like Japanese curry, but the portion is small for Westerners. Please come to the UK one day and try our balti and curry dishes in many of our excellent Indian restaurants. I bought nori today. I want to make nori, rice and tuna triangles tomorrow.
