I jumped on the vitrex train, and idk when I got the bottle, I just couldn't take it! I'm regularly taking prenatal to prepare for conception and I just could not do it. So I have 100$ bottle of vitrex sitting there in my shelf. After the fact I started looking into it and turns out, vutrex can cause extreme issues on a women's cycle and throw it all out of whack so you end up having to start all over in several months after you're regular again. I'll stick with the prenatal prescribed by my doctor! Thanks doc!❤️

Fertility supplements are ones that claim to have ingredients that improve your fertility or lower your miscarriage risk. Prenatal vitamins contains ONLY vitamins and minerals which help reduce the risk for certain kinds of birth defects such as neural tube defects.

Yes. You have been misinformed. Maybe not intentionally. I used to recommend supplements like this also - in the past. However, we now have good scientific evidence that these things don't work, and in some cases may cause harm . Elevit is a perfectly fine prenatal vitamin. All other supplements should be stopped immediately

Pregnacare is a prenatal vitamin this is ok to take. It does not contain DHA. We recommend to our patients that they take a prenatal vitamin that includes DHA (or fish oil) . You should start by tracking your ovulation with the test strips available online very inexpensive. Follow it for 3 months, you will find patterns. It's important to know your body. It was for me anyway ❤️ I hope you have found answers by now🥰

Hi Doc, l need advice, am frustrated by the way my ivf process is going. Was supposed to start February but was given birth control bc of ovarian cysts, l called when l finished the birth control it was cancelled bc of Coronavirus till May. My Doc did control again said no they can't start bc of the cysts was given another birth control that was on May, when my menses came out last Mon l went, it was cancelled again bc my hormone was too low.my menses came out last week l went was cancelled again yesterday bc of the cysts till next month again. Pls Doc am worried what should l do bc of these cysts is 2.4cm. Am a woman of 42 years. Please l need advice. My Doc didn't give me birth control again she only asked me to come next month when my menses come. I menstruate every month. Please l need advice. Hi doctor, Greetings from singapore. Last year Nov 2019 my report of AMH is on the Low side. I am turning 44 in Dec 2020. I suffered 1 miscarriage on the 8 weeks with no heartbeat on 2019 Jan another chemical pregnancy in Aug 2019. Been actively trying and now is 2020 Aug and I did HSG in July 2020 and my tube is fine and including hubby’s sperms. I have done all the Test like rubella, stds, syphilis, gornorhea ans auto immune. Everything is fine. May I ask should I try natural conception in August or I should just go ahead with IVF? Or what other alternatives I should try... Thanks. What are my chance for ivf... thank you doctor. I enjoyed ur video a lot. Very informative and crispy. I have been taking supplements that is FDA approved pharmaceutical grade multivitamins, vitamin c, coenzyme, vitamin D, folate B12, fish oil and also vitamin E for 8 months. Infertility TV pregvit and pregvit folic 5 are full of fillers and contains many food dyes etc. Even though they are on rx, they aren’t the BEST but are given due to the benefits that outweigh the risks. . FDA allows these things in many prescriptions medications. Do your research online folks, there are many otc triple standard testing type prenatals out there. Healthcare professional speaking btw. Mixed reviews?? This is a no brainer. Every medical society in the world that deals with obstetrics recommends taking folic acid when ttc and during pregnancy

Studies comparing 5-methyl-tetrahydrofolate to tetrahydrofolate (dietary folate) have found no difference. CoQ10 or other non prescription supplements is not recommended

I'm not shocked at all I always double check and do my research on an ingredient that seems sketchy. The only thing that was approved with the FDA was "BABY DANCE LUBRICANT". we need to becareful on what we take and do our research and consult with our physicians. But at the same time doctors also lose money if you do it the natural way. IVF is expensive and it shouldn't be. This why woman choose the easiest cheapest way .. because IVF is almost your life saving ..

I’m going for my first IUI this month I’m not sure if I’m Unfertile but I wanted too know if this would help my chances to get pregnant on my first try

If supplements will help with chances? No. Will the IUI? YES. I just got my positive test on my 3rd IUI.

@@collecewali8764 I did Gonal F injections for 7 days leading up to ovulation. I only had one follicle but it worked! I used Ovidrel trigger shot. I already ovulate on my own but they had me do this just to make sure they were timing it right. Then progesterone the day after my IUI until my beta test. Since it was positive, they are keeping me on progesterone for a few weeks.

Am trying to conceive naturally but the doctor said my tubes are swollen and I have fibroids what should I do ?I don’t want IVF

Nor sure what "swollen tubes" means. One type of tubal blockage is known as a hydrosalpinx results in fluid in the tube causing it to swell. There are two ways women with a hydrosalpinx can attempt pregnancy 1) IVF 2) Surgery The surgery for hydrosalpinx has a low success rate and a high chance for resulting in an ectopic (tubal) pregnancy

I'm lost. In one video supplements like Vitamin D are talked about as something positive to take for fertility. However, this video seems to be against supplements for fertility and how they can cause harm.

The evidence regarding myo-inositol is insufficient to show that it has a benefit. In fact, the FDA has **FINALLY** started cracking down on companies who sell this stuff (and other so called "fertility supplements") claiming it helps fertility.
