Larian did a great job of the writing in this game. It's sad to watch Shadowheart fall into darkness even though it is just fiction, but at the same time offers a compelling story.

I really wish to see someone bring the noblestalk all the way here. Just imagine, Shart kills her parents, Shar makes her forget, and we, the a-holes of this story, make her remember.

My next plan for a playthrough is a dorky Bard Durge who goes "fuk around and find out". His brain damage so bad that papa Bhaal is screaming in his domain.

Very strange but no of the hundred of thousands, if not millions playthrough of the tav/durge story more then one person chose to play an evil bard.

@@tremere26 😶 I did. Minthara romance, killed the grove, ascended Astarion, Shadowheart is a still with Shar. I’m in act 3 almost finished.

In the final battle Shar’s “forces” are near worthless. The 2 weaker ones does immediately with there small health bar. The 2 stronger ones help somewhat but hinder YOU by spamming darkness. That sounds like I’m being harsh but you are trading the nightsong and one of the strongest heals in the game.

I think if she has killed the moonsong her fate is sealed, the only narrative difference is if she leaves you for trying to push her away from shar. IE, she can leave the party, similar to how Karlac will if you let the goblins invade the druid camp.

@@BeCurieUs that's what I always assumed! But she seems reluctant to kill her parents in this scene, I wonder how it would play out if you told her to spare them.

@@pixxie643 ya. a different playthrough came up for me right after I watched this and it does look like she was able to save her parents. So maybe a bunch of different factors involved including how good your relationship is with her.

Yes you can, I did convinced her just at the end in my evil play through and saved her parents. I wanted to go full evil but this ending broke my heart so I reloaded.

Idk why people make her a Dark Justiciar in their evil playthroughs? Like Evil doesnt mean= Be a Slave to a god. The best example how Dark Justiciars end is shown in the game when you confront the "rat" in Shars Temple. Shar doesnt give two flying fcks about her followers she only is interested to win her beef with Selune. To me a true "evil" character wouldnt indulge a god or please them. If you are truly evil then your actions shouldnt be dictated by someone else except only by you. If you wanna kill then kill but do it if its actually your own choice. Dark Urge doesnt need some pathetic god or Lae Zel doesnt need Vlaakith (although she after she is like "Orpheus rules wooo hooo." You can change her perspective at the end by convincing her to stay in Faerun). True Evil guys doesnt let themselves be controlled. True Evil is someone that does it out of your own will. Shadowheart isnt a evil character and she never will be no matter how edgy she is towards some people. She is a potential Selunite that was brainwashed by Shar. I think freeing her from that and letting her make her own decisions. Evil isnt being a slave to a god/oath. Evil is having the freedom to choose and shape the world by your own will.

I think that's why D&D has 3 different forms of evil alignment between lawful, neutral and chaotic evil.
