Huca is so underrated, one of my favourites as well and I always feel emotional when listening to it. It's also a beautiful homage to Sara Tavares (ESC 1994) that passed away last year.

Unfortunately Deban, Huca didn't qualify to the final. The song is beautiful and the perfomance elevated it, you need to see it. The lyrics are an homage to Sara Tavares, a symbol of Festival de Canção who unfortunately passed away a few months ago. Huca's song pays homage to Sara, seeing her as a symbol of black empowerment, embracing her roots and african heritage, while also wishing, now, for her soul to fly like a butterfly.

In fact, the festival d canção this year is very diverse and performed in different ranges of music. Great performers and a year of tribute for the late Sara Tavares, one of the first Portuguese contenders at ESC.

And as a national broadcaster, being loyal to the promoting national artists and national music. 19 will not go to Eurovision however, I’m sure they will get the benefits and reach more people with their music, specially with fantastic reaction and appreciation as your review . Buba is very dear to the Portuguese Public, but he won't be singing alone; he's bringing his friends, who will empower the song with beautiful harmonies (the traditional Alentejo acapella chorus). I'm waiting to see Filipa's live performance; she sounds super sexy and sultry. Maria Joao should be very interesting to watch as well.

😂 the Google pronunciation tool is not accurate, though, as it pronounces the words in Brazilian Portuguese, and it's not how the Portuguese say them

And ? The majority of the English translations are in American English, not in British, Irish or Indian English… and nobody does a fuzz around it

I was just pointing out there's a difference between Brazilian Portuguese and European Portuguese accents, and the pronunciation tool uses the former. Since the participating country is Portugal, not Brazil, I just mentioned such tool is not representative of how us, the Portuguese, actually speak.
