Yoh! The crowd 😑are we sure they’re African where’s the hype the dancing, the energy. i can always tell when backup dancers aren’t South African is it just me, the dance feels different tyla should have got baby face womdantso, Lebo to dance for her, it’s crazy because waffles also changed her backup dancers to foreigners. And the random people standing at the back like go hide somewhere, do u have to stand RIGHT THERE🫠the lady at the end gave me life 😂that’s the energy I needed from her back up dancers, the crowd just everyone 😂😂😂tyla is a great performer

@@LulamaMankayi-su4vbthere’s one hun and gent there that I know 100% is a South African dancer for real , it’s the attitude and the dance just makes me feel. I watched from a different angle closer to the stage as individuals the dancers are good neh don’t get me wrong but as a unit the South African dancer are making the foreigners look way worse in comparison in my opinion sorry 😭I can’t groove well to amapiano myself so I know the struggle. My cousin literally warned about this. She told me that people love tyla as a dancer mainly. Yes she has great voice but her literally standing still (which according to you guys she had an injury) made the crowd energy to reduce a bit. Tyla is more like a performer which I do not think is a very good ethic in today's Industry. Baby girl needs to work on hyping the crowd without needing to dance.

I've said this many times before, but people thought I was hating. She was focused on targeting the American audience, and overlooking the African fan base. I said that if she fails to sustain a good American fan base, then she will certainly fall flat and disappear into the background. While an artist like Ayra Start will always remain relevant plus or minus American fan base, due to her huge African (and even Europe) fan base. People from SA were coming for me in the comments section calling me jealous and hater. Well, we are gradually seeing the signs.

Very true. Tyla should’ve done an african tour first before going to the bets etc. I’m in kenya and we’ve had great performances from rema, arya , uncle waffles etc before they went abroad. And it established a fan base here for their music because you genuinely feel like they care about Africans yk For tyla I think this is her white-American-management’s fault tho

'Tyla' has made the list of 'Album of the Year' picks by Billboard, Rolling Stone, NME, and Consequence. Ty Dollar Sign after Bet Awards said the SA performer was the most exciting new star for her 'singing, dancing ability, everything'. Of course Tyla beat everyone in that Bet category, including Americans and naijas. She also performed at the event and Billboard said her performance was one of the top three of the 13 that day. Hard times indeed for her naija haters. And two of her hits just gone double platinum and gold in Canada, and the girl is still charting high in America and elsewhere in the world for her new music. 🎉🎉🎉🎉
