Thanks to your very nice video on this saw and the unboxing. I was able to tell my ksc 60 was packed like shit and missing parts. So I showed the store your video and they replaced it. Thank you😊

I owned this for a month and took it back to buy the larger Kapex instead. The smaller Kapex when paired with the 36mm hose does an amazing job of dust collection, but the same hose on the larger one does not collect nearly as much. The bevel adjustment is superior on the larger one, but the KSC 60 is still good. I would just stick a digital gauge on the blade if I want more precision. I might buy the KSC 60 again in the future.

If funds permit I will be getting the larger Kapex in the future. For me it was a coin flip on which one to purchase first. This past summer I worked on a few projects outside. I am looking forward to putting an all battery set up through the paces when better weather rolls around. I am still eyeballing the cordless CT MIDI to pair with my cordless track saw, table saw, miter saw and jigsaw. Thanks for checking out the video.

ive had the 120 for over 12 years now and its still going strong, i have ordered the ksc60 because im balls deep in festool batterys, and i rarely use the 120 to its full capacity

Pros and cons to both the 120 and the cordless 60. I end up using the 60 the most, it’s mobile, light, cordless. I actually find the dust collection is better on the 60 as well. There are just somethings it can’t quite do

From my research, I came to that same conclusion. There is a market for both. Depending on what a person wants to do in their shop both may be the best option. Thanks for checking out the video.

@@daddysharespace the 60 is my preferred saw I think but it’s not perfect. Really wish I could have been in on the design, sometimes festool can be really out to lunch

@@daddysharespacewings should integrate directly into the saw instead of using the stupid flimsy plastic base they sell. Saw bevel should be controlled in the same way as the 120 with the lift flap and knob on the bar. Safety button should be redesigned so it’s easier to use left handed (works ok right handed even though it seems unecessary). It’s a good moulding saw don’t get me wrong but it could be much better

I agree I would have liked to have seen a little more consistency between the saws. I cannot argue against any of your points. Everything you mentioned made me consider the 120. When I decided that I would eventually purchase both I picked up the 60 because it was a little cheaper at the time. Thanks for offering your insight.
