We’re Marianne and Chris, a married couple from the UK. After some life changing events we decided that life was just too short. We sold all our belongings, bought an old Campervan & rented our house to travel full time. The aim is to attempt to visit every country in the world in either our van or with a backpack. We started videoing our travels for our family and then decided it was a wonderful way to document and share our adventures.
Our latest adventure started in January 2020 when we left the UK in an attempt to drive our van all the way around the world. Let the adventures continue.

Absolutely loved this video! Where do I start. The market was a delight. The guy showed you a Mickey Mouse orange. What you had for lunch looked so good. Exactly my taste and can’t wait to try it when I go to Turkey. I have never seen such gorgeous plump seeds on a pomegranate. Ours in the States are not as full and gorgeous as they are there. That tree was amazing. Turkey and its beauty keeps growing and growing with each video. That walkway looked so inviting. I am so glad you showed the turtles. I think your signature KZfaq videos is showing some beautiful creature and would be disappointed if there was none. Thanks so much for this delightful video.

I was glued to your first visit of my second home. The surrounding mountains are really high. You showed Çaldağ, which is 2184 m high, then the Akdağ range, topping out at just 3000 m. Compare the UK’s highest mountain, Ben Nevis, at 1345 m. The local peak, just a few kilometres from Fethiye, is Babadağ and that reaches up to 1969 m. It is where the paragliders take off from. I’m sure you’ll be visiting the beach at Ölüdeniz, where they land.

I swear I am living these videos with you. I love them all. I lost my heart to Turkey so many years ago but seeing you in Dalyan and Fethiye particularly this last couple weeks is just wonderful. No way would you be able to walk around like that it the Summer Months, it’s so crowded. It’s a brilliant place, with the mixture of the old and new town centre, we love it there. Glad u met up with mick and trudie scarsbrook ive folowed them for ages they do great vids on living in turkey full time . The market is amazing whatever day u go to it if id bn allowed to buy everything i saw and wanted wed have needed a truck and trailer to get it all back to uk lol . So you are now in beautiful Fethiye, I have been visiting this area for 20 years and the fruit and veg market never ceases to amaze but I have never seen it so quiet. I'm glad the weather is kind to you so you can really enjoy this beautiful town. Great that you have met up with Mick, no one knows the area better than him.

The markets are incredible here. Usually each District has it's own market, on a specific day of the week. Our one here in Altınkum, Antalya is on a Friday and is just a two minute walk from my home. The produce is absolutely amazing. Where else can you get a Tommy Hilfigger tshirt and a kilo of oranges for £2 😅

The snow capped mountains are always beautiful to see, we are surrounded by them in Antalya. At times of the year it is possible to swim and sunbathe on the beach in Antalya in the morning and in the afternoon be surrounded by snow and go skiing in Saklikent.

Welcome to the area Love and go to every year normally the area is fabulous, we call it our second home, I’ve watched your trip around and you have only come across what we found some 12yrs plus, the people & the country, and over the years we have lots of Turkish friends. Cannot wait until we can travel there again, my wife and I were very jealous, our favourite city is of course is ISTANBUL, it’s magical.

These two beautiful people travel to Anatolia, the cradle of civilizations, as a Culture and Tourism ambassador for all nations of the world who can speak English, make recordings and share them with us. They do this at a time when Covid-19 is sweeping the whole world. During this curfew, we wouldn't want them to be in England waiting at home. I think they are doing the best for us all. They are on the way for us. People who are a source of joy and joy to those who happen to be at home. I congratulate the people who became parents of these two beautiful people.

How times have changed , I remember travelling there in the early 80,s before all of the development , getting a ride in produce cart attached to a tractor to a beautiful campground set amongst pine trees is a stand out memory. Thanks for another great video , another thumbs up Ps Turkish people refer to Mick as Mick Amca , an honorific title that means uncle Mick

It's a Basket Tree or sometimes called a Circus Tree. It's made by grafting several trees so that they bond and grow together. Did I hear you say that the lady was making a gozleme with corn, was that corn meal? I am sensitive to gluten so I was wondering about that. That market looked fabulous, would love to go there.

They may be mixing corn flour into wheat flour. I have never heard that it is made only from corn flour.

The trees are ficus, Weeping fig. We have them as house plants in the UK. We have a holiday home in Çalış beach so this video was lovely.It was great to see you enjoying all the things we enjoy every time we go to Turkey. The council are redoing the promenade at Çalış so it’s a bit untidy but you get the most amazing sunsets from the beach. The park just before Çaiış is also well worth a visit. You made the right choice staying in such a beautiful country instead of coming home for the pandemic.

Yes, I was on the road back in 1996. Ölüdeniz is also nearby. The most beautiful beach in Turkey. Turquoise colored water. Greetings from Germany

I love Fethiye. And I can't wait to see when you meet up with Mick and Trudie again. I follow Mick and Trudie as well. We've been to Fethiye twice. And I think I can say it's my favorite destination in Turkey at the moment. So I was very excited to learn you were going to Fethiye. Can't get enough of it. We hope to go to Turkey in september again. We would love to see Capadocie, but I'm not sure if we can go and if the trip is available at that time. Thanks for giving me this perfect start of my day. I'm from Holland b.t.w. So if my English is not that good, you know why.

Somehow you posted another awesome video on time even though you’ve had computer issues this week🙌🙌. Chris, while in the covered market I would prefer if you filmed yourself talking while wearing your mask. I know it’s not as pretty but its safer and more comfortable for those around you. ❤️

My uncle lives In Fethiye. He’s been there for around ten years now . I believe he met you guys a few weeks back! I’ve never been but hoping to go over when things are back to normal. Great video !
