There are many boat tours that you can take while exploring Fethiye. Some last for a few hours while some take the entire day.
From visiting Oludeniz Beach to covering the nearby islands, you will find all kinds of boat tours in Fethiye. And regardless of which one you choose, you can expect to have a lot of fun with these.
I chose the 12 Island Boat Tour which didn’t cover 12 islands but did give us enough time to spend swimming in the cool and clear water and sunbathing on the deck. If you are looking for just some fun, sun, and swimming, then I would definitely suggest this tour.
🛥️ How to Book a Boat Tour
There are a couple of ways to book a boat tour in Fethiye:
➡️ Through Hotel - Many hotels have partnered up with boat companies and can book the boat tour for you if you don’t have time to do it yourself.
➡️ Online - There are many online websites such as GetYourGuide, Viator, etc., where you can book your tour online.
➡️. Through Tour Company - Finally, you can always head to the tour company office in Fethiye to book your boat tour. I was skeptical about the online ones so this seemed like a safer option. I chose Essence Travel Company for my full-day boat trip in Fethiye.
🏷️ What’s the Price
The price depends on the boat trip you choose and how exclusive you want it to be. It can be anywhere between 15 to 200 Euros.
Group packages are generally cheaper and will cost you between 20 - 50 Euros (1700 - 4300 INR) generally.
The boat trip that I chose cost me 20 Euros (1700 INR).
🛍️ What are the Inclusions
Now, coming to what all is included in this boat trip. So, the one I chose offered the following facilities and services as part of the boat trip price:
➡️ Hotel/Hostel Pick Up and Drop (if it is in the serviceable area for the tour company)
➡️ Lunch (Veg and Non-Veg)
➡️ Life Jackets
➡️ Sunbeds
➡️ Toilet/Changing Room
You also have access to a snack bar where you can order drinks or snacks which will cost extra. They also serve ice creams on board in case you are craving one.
The boat tour will take you to at least 5-6 islands where you can swim in the clear water and walk around a bit.
Overall, I loved this boat tour and would definitely recommend it to everyone!!
